The Proposal is coming under fire. Deadline reports ABC has pulled an episode of the TV show amid accusations of sexual assault against one of the male contestants.
The reality dating show is hosted by Jesse Palmer and follows matchmakers as they select a panel of eligible men or women to compete for the heart of a mystery suitor.
Per Deadline, ABC has decided to pull the second episode of The Proposal because of recent sexual misconduct allegations made against contestant Michael J. Friday. While the show hasn’t been cancelled, the network is reviewing the matter and has released the following statement:
An allegation has been made against a contestant on next week’s episode of The Proposal. While the accusation was not related to the contestant’s appearance on the program, we take it very seriously. ABC and the producers of ‘The Proposal’ are pulling the episode while this matter is under review.”

At 63 years old this is the best show. Very romantic and love story.. I think you should have a 60+show. There’s alot of us women (seniors) are looking for love too.. It’s the biggest dreams at our age to find our last love. Thank you Donna ☺
I agree with you!!! I want more! People say it’s tacky or creepy……lol but I’ll bet they all watch The Bachelorette/Bachelor and The Bachelor Paradise Island though….. those shows are tacky and come Fantasy Suites night, he/she can sleep with all 4 people????? Really and this romantic show isn’t anymore tacky than the beauty pageants are with their bathing suits. Actually it’s next to one of my favorite shows!!!

Disagree Respectfully it’s better than the Bachelor/Bachelorette where the string 25 people along for an extended period of time and then sleep with all four on fantasy suite night.
The first episode was totally creepy to me already! It’s a tired concept, was done over a decade ago. It’s misogynistic… making the women march around in bathing suits! Really tacky show!
