Is the third season of FOX’s The Resident TV show just what the doctor ordered? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether TV shows are cancelled or renewed. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the third season episodes of The Resident here. *Status update below.
A FOX medical drama, The Resident stars Matt Czuchry, Bruce Greenwood, Manish Dayal, Emily VanCamp, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Jane Leeves, and Morris Chestnut. The series follows a group of doctors at Chastain Memorial Hospital, as they face personal and professional challenges on a daily basis. Although its motto is, “Committed to excellence,” the hospital is staffed with human beings, and humans are flawed. In the third season, the doctors are surrounded by new rules and physicians, as Red Rock Mountain Medical takes over the hospital. The staff includes senior resident internist Conrad Hawkins (Czuchry), resident internist Devon Pravesh (Dayal), nurse practitioner Nicolette Nevin (VanCamp), surgical resident Mina Okafor (Wilson), cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. AJ Austin (Warner), orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Kit Voss (Leeves), neurosurgeon Dr. Barrett Cain (Chestnut), and CEO Dr. Randolph Bell (Greenwood).

I Learned about this show from my daughter about a week ago. And I’ve already finished all 3 seasons and really really hope season 4 comes out
I really love this show. However, the ending on this years season finally, I was upset! Please bring him back and get rid of that nasty know it all surgeon and his new side kick.

I love this show, so much better than Grey’s Anatomy. The characters are fresh, interesting, and diverse. I enjoy watching the doctors and nurses work together against a common evil for the good of their patients. Please don’t leave your dedicated viewers hanging, renew for season 4!!!
I loved greys but since watching this I much rather watch the resident. I watched it for 3 straight days
I love this show. You have to make another season you cant leave us hanging. Now that the main residents just got fired I want to.see what is going to happen please let us have another season I want to see red rock go down in flames
Please renew The Resident, I love it! It is one of the best medical dramas out there. I watch it every week I never miss an episode. I watch on my HUHU so I can watch commercial free. Finding good TV to watch is getting harder and harder. They are cancelling all the greats like Code Black for dumb comedy shows. Mature audiences want shows with dept and meaning.

I ran across The Resident on Hulu when it was on Season 2. I ended up binging to get caught up. When it was on break, before Season 3 came out, I rewatched it. This show rocks! I was sad these last couple of weeks when it wasn’t on . There HAS to be a Season 4. Firing Matt was so uncool . PLEASE bring The Resident back.
