What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, The Rookie: Feds TV show is a spin-off of The Rookie from a backdoor pilot. The series stars Niecy Nash-Betts, Felix Solis, Frankie Faison, Britt Robertson, Kevin Zegers, and James Lesure. Guests in the first season include Jessica Betts, Tom Arnold, Eric Roberts, and Deniz Akdeniz. The story follows Simone Clark (Nash-Betts), the oldest rookie in the FBI Academy. Both empathetic and exasperating, Simone is a former guidance counselor and the mother of twins. As the story begins, Simone graduates from Quantico and heads to Los Angeles to start a new life.
Season One Ratings
The first season of The Rookie: Feds averaged a 0.30 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.43 million viewers in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM). While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but typically the higher-rated series are renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled. Will ABC cancel or renew The Rookie: Feds for season two? The series is a spin-off to another ABC show, The Rookie, so I’m guessing they’ll be doing some crossovers to cross-promote the shows (both series shoot on the same lot). ABC Signature produces both series, so all of the various ways to monetize them benefit the Disney parent company. I’m confident that The Rookie: Feds will be renewed. I came across this show and loved it. I didn’t realize when I started it that was only one season. Would enjoy more. I just finished the 5 seasons of the rookie. I think they pair well with each other. I know there are a lot of complaints on Nashs breast but she is a funny actress that fits the role well.
I really like the show. It’s different. I think it deserves a season two!!!
Could be a ok show if they recast the lead character she can’t act her voice is annoying . She is also unbelievable as a FBI agent can’t see them firing her though she seems to have half her family in the cast . Think the only reason most people watch is for the cross over episodes.
Would watch if it comes back with another lead if not will be turning off. Feel sorry for the other actors.

Love this cast… I’m always having a good laugh along with enjoying the solving of cases.
I agree as well. I am so tired of looking at Nash’s boobs. They are always in your face, and she is so comfortable with it. It’s like her trademark. She has a whiney voice, but her acting is good.
For those of you that like the show I hope it is renewed. For me, I’ll watch because of the crossovers. I’m so tired of her boobs in everyone’s face and I can’t stand her whiney voice! I wish there was another lead.
So disappointed and sick of seeing Nicey-Nash’ boobs in every scene. I thinks she’s great in the show just not her boobs. We don’t watch the show but love The Rookies.
