What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, The Rookie: Feds TV show is a spin-off of The Rookie from a backdoor pilot. The series stars Niecy Nash-Betts, Felix Solis, Frankie Faison, Britt Robertson, Kevin Zegers, and James Lesure. Guests in the first season include Jessica Betts, Tom Arnold, Eric Roberts, and Deniz Akdeniz. The story follows Simone Clark (Nash-Betts), the oldest rookie in the FBI Academy. Both empathetic and exasperating, Simone is a former guidance counselor and the mother of twins. As the story begins, Simone graduates from Quantico and heads to Los Angeles to start a new life.
Season One Ratings
The first season of The Rookie: Feds averaged a 0.30 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.43 million viewers in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM). While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but typically the higher-rated series are renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled. Will ABC cancel or renew The Rookie: Feds for season two? The series is a spin-off to another ABC show, The Rookie, so I’m guessing they’ll be doing some crossovers to cross-promote the shows (both series shoot on the same lot). ABC Signature produces both series, so all of the various ways to monetize them benefit the Disney parent company. I’m confident that The Rookie: Feds will be renewed. I love the Rookie! But the Rookie Feds seems so much more unrealistic because of it’s star. She always looks like she’s going to a club. Need a better lead. Other than her, great show. Will Trent however is one of my new favorites!!!
I love The Rookie Feds! ABC has a great Tuesday line-up with The Rookie, The Rookie Feds, and Will Trent! This is one of the best ABC line-ups ever!!! Please do not ruin it! I am so tired of ABC cancellations of great shows!
Rockie feds very attractive show bring back
Bad lead actor who is unbelievable as an agent let alone an actor. The others on the show should be embarrassed about the content and her attire. Must be family that put her there. It can be a better show. One of the women stars in the rookie would be a better fit.
I hate this show. I can’t stand looking at her boobs and she can’t act. Took it off my dvr list

She can not act and I have never seen an FBI female agent being allowed to wear what she wears and yes I do realize that it is a TV show but to me this one is very degrading to the FBI as a whole.
Cancel, I don’t believe FBI women wear clothing that show their breast. I’m embarrassed for her.
Hopefully they recast the main. If they do that they might have a chance. If not, just cancel the show and save some money
I actually like the show and it’s lead. The main problem that I see is the writing and casting. Simone is written so badly it’s embarrassing. That’s not surprising since John Nolan (from the original Rookie show) is written like a spineless goofball that all the characters enjoy dunking on. As someone else pointed out, Britt Robertson’s character is miscast. And did they really have to make the Brendon Acres character a well known actor? This show is garbage and a disgrace to all women in law enforcement. Did a teenage boy develop Nash’s character? I’m not against well-endowed women, but come on…
I’m willing to give it another try if they renew but STOP PUTTING SIMONES BOOBS IN MY FACE! It’s disgusting even if you like boobs and wouldn’t be allowed in the FBI. Also, you have to let other people in the show shine. I like the rest of the cast except Simone’s dad’s character falls short, and Brett Robinson’s character is not believable, not good at her job, and she’s wrong for this part. Then again, it could just be the riding I absolutely love the rookie, and had high hopes for the rookie feds.
I agree completely about how they dress her. Cover up those big boobs if you want us to believe she’s really a federal law enforcement officer

It’s such a bad show. Too bad cause the Rookie is good and this could have had potentially. First…put your freakin tits away! Second her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. How did the fbi every solve anything without Simone. Apparently she is never wrong and is the one that solves every case with her league of guidance counselors.
