What’s This TV Show About?
A Netflix Australian drama, Tidelands stars Charlotte Best, Aaron Jakubenko, Peter O’Brien, Madeleine Madden, Mattias Inwood, Elsa Pataky, Marco Pigossi, Dalip Sondhi, and Chloe De Los Santos. The series centers on Cal McTeer (Best). After serving years in a juvenile detention facility, Cal returns to the small fishing village of Orphelin Bay and soon finds her hometown awash in mystery.
As of March 7, 2025, Tidelands has not been cancelled or renewed for a second season. Stay tuned for further updates.

I enjoyed season 1, but don’t understand why the show killed off a lot of good characters already, when they were fighting for the good and saving the bad with there healing power. There is a whole camp with people who could of healed the wounded in time to save them. I really hope that season 2 comes out.

I am almost certain I saw Netflix display “another season is coming in 2020”, back in 2019. I assumed the epidemic held the release date back but it has obviously disappeared since and now I find myself here looking for answers…

Neither Netflix nor the show’s social media accounts have announced a renewal.
It’s sooo annoying that Netflix puts out these one season series and then leaves you hanging without a conclusion because they decided not to renew a second season. Please release a season 2 for this one.
