Are you a big fan of Timeless? Deadline reports the California Film Commission has praised the cancelled NBC TV show.
As reported earlier, NBC has ordered a TV movie to wrap up the time-travel drama. The cast includes Matt Lanter, Abigail Spencer, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnjić, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit.
Fans of Timeless will know the NBC series was first cancelled then immediately uncanceled and brought back for a second season last year. For season two, the show moved production from Vancouver to California after receiving a large tax incentive.
Now, even though Timeless has once again been cancelled, the California Film Commission has mentioned the show in their latest report as an example of their incentive program’s success.
Of course, Timeless isn’t over yet. The series will air a special, two-hour finale on December 20th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

It is completely ridiculous that we live in an age where there are multiple trash shows about exploiting people’s stupidity (Bachelor) but this smart, funny, informative and creative show is cancelled. I’ll never understand. Timeless should run for many more seasons.

I really loved this show & all of the characters & storylines. I cannot believe it is cancelled. I am certain there are enough fans that could have kept it alive.
The entire family loved to watch Timeless. It was light weight history, but it sparked an interest in researching these topics by the 13 year old in our house . My main complaint is that it was aired on a school night after his 8-9 pm bed time. This required us to watch each program the evening after it was originally aired. When they brought it back for the second session, it should have been aired at 8pm on Friday evening so that more children could watch it and be more relaxed and actually able to fully enjoy each program.… Read more »
Not cancelling the show would be optimal, however a movie is great. This show has been the only show that has motivated me to speak up and voice my opinion. I truly loved this show. I learned so much and actually looked up the information behind each “jump” in time. My family would watch all together. It seems ridiculous that a family friendly show has to be cancelled because it doesn’t fit with a group of viewers ideas. Where is the voice for families and middle aged adults?

Timeless was the BEST show on TV – should never have been cancelled! Romance, drama, science fiction, history, all in one package! They only cancelled it because it was too expensive – it was a great show!
I’m so sad that Timeless will be cancelled. That was easily my favorite TV show. Although I recorded it to watch later, I always had to watch it when it came on. It had a little bit of history to it, with twists of course, but if I didn’t know something I googled it to see the true history. I’m definitely going to watch the finale.
Love love love this show,history costumess,story line and the actors.Please don’t cancel or please someone pick it up.For those of us who looking for something to watch on Friday or Sat besides movies this would be a great timeslot.Please someone pick this up!!
It’s so unfortunate that the so called ratings dictate the life of a series. Who are they asking to determine these ratings? Timeless wasn’t simply another low quality Sci Fi. It was a well thought out program that explores time travel – its pros and cons based on human nature. It was also a chance to explore history giving an almost infinite number of places and times in history to travel to. Canceling “Timeless” is a great loss as well as a poor decision on the part of NBC.

Really a good show such a shame it has been canceled. Couldn’t wait each week to watch it. Really hoping they will change their minds.
I am happy they are bringing this program to a decent ending. However i would have been much happier had they chose to try and continue it. Thid wad really a great breath of fresh air from the

SUCH A SHAME
This is more of an ending of a season and a cliffhanger instead of a series finale. The goal should be to get people to watch since Sony is still shopping around.
I am thrilled that there will be a final show but agree with Mary. Wish they could have had a third season. There are other shows they could or should have cancelled!!!! Timeless was educational and such good actors and always made us excited for the next show. To Bad it was canceled!!!!!
It is upsetting to me that this show couldn’t get picked up by another network. I really loved this show, but I am grateful for NBC on listening to Timeless fans! Too bad Netflix or HBO couldn’t pickup this show, because this show could had gotten deep. Can NBC please do another Timeless movie every year????????

Yes I watched Timeless and it was and continues to be a great show!!! They deserve a 3rd season!!!
