Are you a big fan of Timeless? Deadline reports the California Film Commission has praised the cancelled NBC TV show.
As reported earlier, NBC has ordered a TV movie to wrap up the time-travel drama. The cast includes Matt Lanter, Abigail Spencer, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnjić, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit.
Fans of Timeless will know the NBC series was first cancelled then immediately uncanceled and brought back for a second season last year. For season two, the show moved production from Vancouver to California after receiving a large tax incentive.
Now, even though Timeless has once again been cancelled, the California Film Commission has mentioned the show in their latest report as an example of their incentive program’s success.
Of course, Timeless isn’t over yet. The series will air a special, two-hour finale on December 20th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Absolutely! I would have watched many more seasons. It was/is one of the very few shows available that encourages an interest in history. I don’t know how many times I actually delved deeper into what the storylines portrayed. With so much Dreck out there, Timeless will be sorely missed.

I most certainly would have watched a season 3. It has taken me a very long time to forgive NBC for canceling Quantum Leap, now I will need to reconsider tuning into a station that allows me to develop a relationship with characters only to have that relationship destroyed. What is needed is an overall story arc that is adhered to, one that has been assured to run it’s course.
I would definitely watch a third season of timeless if it comes to NZ.
I absolutely would have watched a third season. The storylines were creative & entertainjng, the acting was a joy to watch!

We love Timeless! It was both educational and entertaining, which is something few other shows could ever claim. But the network’s think the viewers are all stupid, so they flood the market with reality shows or what mostly amounts to night time soap operas; we say “No Thanks” to both such lame attempts at worthy TV. And what’s up with all of the remakes lately? We refuse to watch Trump bashing shows masquerading as comedies, we don’t care who the Kardashian baby daddy of the month is, and we gave up on Grey’s Anatomy due to unlikable, overly needy characters… Read more »
I think it’s a big mistake to cancel the series I think it was a terrible decision it was finally a series that the family can watch there’s not too many of those anymore it wasn’t loaded up with all the negative things it was loaded up with everything that’s good, I’m saddened by your decision great program top of my list shame to see it go
I would definitely have watched a third season. And a fourth, etc… I was very sad when it was cancelled.
My favorite time-travel series! I love it and was so upset when taken off air. Great actors, I don’t understand why it was cancelled
Yes, this was our favorite show. Very well written and taught us about some things in history we weren’t aware of. Very sad it was cancelled, but definitely needed some closure, so I hope the movie will be great!
Yes indeed I would watch third season . Here in UK have only this year received season 2, and was looking forward to more. Storyline always good and well acted. Bring it back please, so many more stories to be told.
