Cancellation cancelled! Earlier this week, NBC cancelled Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan’s Timeless TV show, but now the Peacock Network has reversed its decision and renewed Timeless for a second season of 10 episodes.
A time travel drama, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, and Goran Visnjic. The NBC cast also includes Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit. It looks like the Lifeboat will be around for season two.

THR reports that although at one point, Kripke said Timeless, season two, would air in the summer of 2018, it is possible the 10-episode installment could return in spring, instead.

Actually POI did fairly well for that time of the year. You cannot compare the ratings that occur during regular season to those that start after May. They will always be lower.
Who’s to say all them fanboyz don’t watch an online stream or download it where there viewing doesn’t count…But yeah lets act like its 1990 and we gotta watch everything live with commercials no thanks rather watch it whenever I want later for free with no commercials and not having to worry about missing anything.

Yep, Watched every ep. So glad NBC gave the show another season, it’s a good show and kinda appeals to some of us ‘Baby Boomers’. Lookin’ at things goin’ on all around us…many of us would love to jump into a time machine with a couple hundred bucks and head back to 1960. Within a week we’d have a job, an apartment, and a car, and doin’ well. Good luck with the 2nd season. Can’t wait!!
Or maybe the show could show us the way things really were for all kinds of…”different”…people in 1960 and teach people that the past actually wasn’t that much better than the present.

Dumb show, should have stayed cancelled
Never liked the show, time after time was better.
Time after Time lost me in the 1st episode. You knock out Jack the Ripper, the most prolific serial killer of all time. Do you tie him up?No. Do you kill him? No. Instead you idioticly take another not so bright girl and try to quietly step over him and run away. Wow. A lot of other writing flaws, but who cares, it’s gone.
We enjoyed Timeless but I would agree with you that Time after Time was better. Can never understand the decision not to renew it, it was unique n had such a good story line.
