Is Torchwood coming back? During this year’s Comic-Con, star John Barrowman said the Doctor Who spin-off could be returning to TV, Zap2It reports.

The BBC series starred Barrowman, Eve Myles, Gareth David-Lloyd, and Kai Owen. The show ran for four seasons before ending in 2011.

At Comic-Con, Barrowman said he’s in talks to bring the sci-fi series back:

I have a phone conversation on Monday to see how we can get it back on television. The fans know me well enough, I’m only going to say it if I mean it and believe it.”

He also said fans can support the series by buying the new Torchwood comic written by himself and his sister, Carole E. Barrowman:

If you really believe in ‘Torchwood,’ get the comic. Get this series going, it’s like a Kickstarter. If you buy the comic, you’ll show your support … we need Captain Jack back on the screens.”
