During the regular 2016-17 television season, only three new dramas debuted on The CW. While Riverdale was renewed for a second season, both Frequency and No Tomorrow were cancelled. This year, the littlest network has introduced its new Valor TV show. Does this action-adventure series have the right stuff? Will Valor be cancelled or renewed for season two on The CW? Stay tuned.
A military drama, Valor stars Christina Ochoa, Matt Barr, Charlie Barnett, Corbin Reid, W. Trè Davis, Nigel Thatch, and Melissa Roxburgh. The story centers on the Shadow Raiders, a crack unit of U.S. Army helicopter pilots. After Jimmy Kam (Davis) disappears during a top-secret mission to Somalia, the only safe returnees — Captain Leland Gallo (Barr) and Warrant Officer Nora Madani (Ochoa) — know what really happened there. As they train to rescue Jimmy, Nora and Leland find themselves growing closer. Their desires end up at odds with their commitment to honor and duty. Jimmy’s wife and Nora’s boyfriend can’t help but be suspicious. Meanwhile, the mysterious Thea (Roxburgh), is assigned to investigate the unit’s failed mission. **Status update, below.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
1/30 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated charts, please try reloading the page. You can also see them here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Valor TV series on The CW? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
**4/30/2018 status update: Valor has been cancelled by The CW. Details here.
Great show! Love it.
I love the show.
Why is the Americn Flag shoulder emblem backwards
think of the body as a flag pole.with wind blowing in your face. the stars are in front of the stripes as if the flag was blowing backwards in the wind
It’s to show that soldiers are always running “into” battle not away from it.
great show dont know what more you could want in a decent tv show and people have to remember its a tv show not real life. keep your expectations realistic ppls!
Man, I really like it. Quite the cast of lookers and becoming more complex all the time
Nice to see Valor back to over 1 million viewers
Omg, the people leaving negative comments have never been in the military. There is so much cover up that it is insane. I am a 17 year Army Veteran and I know the truth. This show shows how it really is with the CIA.
I spent 8 yrs as an army pilot, does the CIA lie? yes, so what – the rest of this show- TOTAL CRAP
I gave it a chance and watched the first episode and half the second but it’s very weak.. Matt Bar should be in something better than this. Would not be sorry if it was cancelled.
This show would make Jan‑Michael Vincent and Ernest Borgnine even vomit. It’s awful.
An hour-long Army recruitment commercial disguised as entertainment. One has to wonder if the military paid for its development
this **** is FAR from a recruiting video
this show is SO BAD on so many levels (Acting writing story telling CGI etc) it could be a college course on how NOT to make a tv show
I agree with the comments that this show is pathetically bad. I wouldn’t be surprised that the only people watching it are friends/family of the cast and crew of the show! This show is dead.
The show is garbage and who cares if it upsets the 3 people watching it.
Show is garbage
The show is awful and those ratings reflect it’s quality.
The show sucks
