Virgin River is making another casting move before it returns for its second season. Ben Hollingsworth has seen his character promoted to series regular status. Fans will see more of his character, Dan Brady, during the second season.
Deadline said the following about his character on the Netflix series:
“Hollingsworth’s Dan Brady is Jack’s (Martin Henderson) old Marine comrade who turns up in Jack’s life like a bad penny. Jack is anxious to help Brady – he feels an ongoing responsibility toward all the men who served under his command. However, Brady is light-fingered, untrustworthy, and deceptive, a fact that Preacher is well aware of, even if Jack continues to make excuses for his old friend.”
The show’s cast also features Alexandra Breckenridge, Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Lauren Hammersley, Jenny Cooper, Colin Lawrence, and Daniel Gillies.
A return date for Virgin River has not been revealed.

the show is wonderful it gives the small town experience both the good side and the bad, if you like chick flicks and movies about small towns this show is perfect, but the show also gives much more than that, it also gives a side of Mystery and drama.
So grab your popcorn and snacks and cuddle up under a nice blanket , and don’t forget the tissues because there might be a little bit of crying

I am soon to be 78 years old and I stayed up all night watched every episode. I absolutely love the show. I am so excited that it was renewed and you can rest assured I will be watching every episode again and probably again. Thank you for putting this on Netflix. I love all the characters whether they’re good or bad, they play their parts wellI I am so excited and thank you again.

I do not like that character. He aggravates me and I always have to fast forward through his parts. I guess I’ll be able to binge watch season two in record time.
