What’s This TV Show About?
A western family drama on the Hallmark cable channel, When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, Jack Wagner, Martin Cummins, Pascale Hutton, and Kavan Smith. Inspired by the Janette Oke novel, the Hallmark TV series centers on Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow), a young teacher from a high society background. When she is assigned to teach in a coal country classroom, her life completely changes, particularly when she meets Royal North West Mounted Police Constable Jack Thornton (Lissing).
Season Five Ratings

Will Hallmark cancel or renew When Calls the Heart for season six? Since this show’s ratings rose significantly in seasons three and four, flying a bit blind I think it will get a sixth season, as long as the parties can agree on money. Please continue to renew the “When Calls the Heart” series. It is great to have a decent family show to watch. The world has become a sad and dangerous place and it feels good to watch a simpler time. Also, I love the many relationships, especially Elizabeth and Jack. I would love to see them one day get married. So please renew.

BEST TV series since Little house on the Prairie>>> Just wish they would make 20 a season instead of 10…back in the day 20 to 30 episodes were normal for TV series…Now on 10, sad

This show, When Calls the Heart, is best show on TV by far. A clean cut program I can watch with my grandchildren is something rare. I came to this show on Netflix. I have watched Seasons 1-4 six times each. I love the characters they are wonderful. I enjoy watching this show over and over. I could watch it for years. I tell all my friends and family to watch and I even watch Season 5 on my laptop. I can’t get enough of this show and everyone I know loves it.
