How well is Elizabeth getting along without Jack during the sixth season of the When Calls the Heart TV show on Hallmark? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like When Calls the Heart is cancelled or renewed for season seven. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the When Calls the Heart season six episodes here. *Status update below.
A Hallmark western family drama, When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow, Lori Loughlin, Jack Wagner, Martin Cummins, Pascale Hutton, and Kavan Smith. Inspired by the Janette Oke novel, the Hallmark TV series centers on Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow), a young teacher from a high society background. When she is assigned to teach in a coal country classroom, her life completely changes, particularly when she meets Royal North West Mounted Policie Constable Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing). Season six kicks off with the recently widowed Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton anticipating the arrival of Jack’s posthumous baby.

I don’t think they should have fired Lori either. I think they should still air the previously recorded shows and then re-cast the character.
I would really like to see them just go ahead and air the Season 6 episodes. Then after season 6 they can decide whether to re-cast Abigail Stanton or eliminate her character. We have already waited a year for season 6, and now this pause may begin to eliminate interest in the series.
I think Lori should be rehired and When Calls the Heart Continued.
Please keep the show going. I would love to see Jack come back. There wasnt enough of them married. And now they have a son.
I have watch every episode and I love watching. I understand you have to drop Lorie Laughlin. You can recast her or write her character out but all the others can stay. Please don’t cancel the show.

I loved Lori Loughlin, and will miss her as she was always a favorite, but I also love the other characters. Can’t her ” daughter-in-law” in the show keep the restaurant going? I’d love to know more about what happened to Jack, but the new Mountie will be a great replacement.

I love when calls the heart. Good family TV. Live all the characters, even lorie laughlin. I wouldn’t stop w as thing this show even if they leave her on. I would love to see jack return by finding out his death was a mustake.
Should show current show as is , but make plans for next season to Recast or write off ! Think recast would be fine ! Love the show and sorry Loughlin has to pay the piper .. so her time ! Meanwhile show has to go on!
Shows should not be cancelled because of one actor/actress, write them out and move on.
Please continue with ‘When Calls the Heart’! I’m 56 years old and have never enjoyed a series more than this show. I make sure I’m home on Sunday night just to watch it. Would be so disappointed for it to be cancelled.

What you really need to do is recast Jack. Go back and make it so he doesnt die, please. Bring Jack back even if it is a different actor.
Isn’t it something all the people that will accept Abigail being recast after some of them wouldn’t accept Jack being recast. But there were a lot of other people that said the did want Jack to be recast. Elizabeth’s husband doesn’t die in the books so he shouldn’t had died on the show. I haven’t watched the show since Jack died so really doesn’t matter to me what they do about Abigail.
