A spy drama with a screwball comedy bent, Whiskey Cavalier stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. The series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world.
Airing on Wednesday nights, the first season of Whiskey Cavalier is averaging a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers.
Out of the 21 scripted ABC TV shows of the 2018-19 season, Whiskey Cavalier is in 18th place in the demo and 13th place in total viewership.
The decision to renew or cancel Whiskey Cavalier reportedly came down to the wire. Word is that Warner Bros TV will be shopping season two to other outlets so there is some small hope that the series will survive.

I would watch Season 2, 3, 4 & 5 of Whiskey Cavalier. It is funny, yet has action and adventure. The team is a group of quirky individuals that fit together great. I will admit, I didn’t watch it live, but then I don’t watch any of my shows when they first come on. But I will watch whatever channel picks up Whiskey Cavalier!
The time slot for Whiskey Cavalier’s time slot was hard to follow. It was a great show & was pre-empted 2 times that I know of. There isn’t much worth watching on TV these days, but this show was so clever! It worked well just the way it is. Frankly I stopped viewing & family because of your very opinionated news broadcasts. SO, that being said, one fails to remember just when “Whiskey Cavalier” was on. I notice some things are changing in you news broadcasts, & they are more inclusive to the “real news” per say!
My daughter and I are very sad by the cancellation. This was the show we got together to watch.
I love this show has comedy, drama and great acting. Most important it wasn’t boring. Hopefully it will be picked up by another station.

I absolutely loved Whiskey Cavalier and am so crushed that it has been cancelled(especially with that cliffhanger!)! Please, please, someone save Whiskey!! Or at the very least, give us some closure.

They don’t give them enough time & episides to fairly make a judgement against it! Just fewer & fewer shows on ABC worth watching!! So sick of disgusting, vulgar, tv shows all using variations of the same formula..Boring!! Ee are in our late 60’s & about to give up on the 4 big networks.

Love the show. Good solid characters! My husbands chuckles all throughout the show! We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the show together and were very disappointed to hear it was cancelled but now very excited to see it pick up by another network!
Huge disappointment! Companies are so quick to pull shows. It was so enjoyable with the humor and banter. A little bit of everything in this show. And a perfect cast. I hope another station picks it up!! Would starting a petition help???
I know Whiskey Cavalier’s main demographic is 18-49, but my wife and I are in our 60’s and love the show. The dialog is the most well-written banter on TV.
The show had a multicultural cast that is rare for a TV shows here in America. I believe that is the reason that they canceled the show. And that is a shame for this reason. They should bring it back soon, very soon. I really like that show because it shows all of them working together even though they may have their slight differences.
