A spy drama with a screwball comedy bent, Whiskey Cavalier stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. The series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world.
Airing on Wednesday nights, the first season of Whiskey Cavalier is averaging a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers.
Out of the 21 scripted ABC TV shows of the 2018-19 season, Whiskey Cavalier is in 18th place in the demo and 13th place in total viewership.
The decision to renew or cancel Whiskey Cavalier reportedly came down to the wire. Word is that Warner Bros TV will be shopping season two to other outlets so there is some small hope that the series will survive.

One of the more creative, interesting new shows on TV. It’s a shame the three traditional TV networks follow tired, boring models that fit only one demographic. Same garbage year after year. That’s why more and more people are turning to cable and other outlets for creative entertainment.
WC is one of the best shows since Person of Interest. It’s got everything for everyone (18+). Hope it finds a home somewhere because I’ll follow this show til the end.

I enjoyed watching this show – good acting, writing and characters. And the European locations were a plus. I’m sorry it was canceled and hope it finds another home.
So irritating to get into a show and then, BAM, it’s gone. Maybe I have obscure taste, but this happens more often than not. I really liked WC. I hope Netflix picks it up, so they can develop more of an edge.
I really looked forward to seeing this show and am sad it was cancelled. It injected comedy and kindness into my day. I hope either cable or one of the subscription online services picks it up. Ratings! There is a population over the age of 49 who watch tv and also buy products.

This is one of only two new shows we atched this season!! It is SO great but it got a bad time slot!!! We woukd absolutely watch a 2nd season. There is so much mind numbing junk on TV but WC is smart and funny!!! Bring it back!
