It’s official. Deadline reports the ABC TV show Whiskey Cavalier will not be returning for a second season after all.
The drama series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Scott Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world. The cast also includes Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins.
Last week, we reported that ABC was considering bringing Whiskey Cavalier back for a second season after cancelling it earlier this month. Now, it series creator David Hemingson has confirmed this will not be the case. Whiskey Cavalier will remain cancelled:

At first I didn’t think I would like it but the show sort of grew on me. Wish you could bring it back. It was unique.

I love Whiskey Cavalier! If I can add to a petition or whatever to keep it, I will! It’s so fun and such a great break from all the music and reality shows that are always on. No wonder everyone watches CBS the most – they actually have some good shows along this same line!
I loved this show too!! Just like last year when they cancelled Kevin Probably Saved the World…seems like I continually get let down by ABC!! I’m not sure I will be watching any new shows again. It’s too disappointing when they get cancelled and you’re left hanging. I’m not a happy camper!! Thumbs down to ABC!!
Please, renew Whiskey Cavalier or let another network carry it into season two.
One of my favorite shows in a long, long time. I’m extremely unhappy that the ABC brass has chosen to cancel it.
Love that show! I looked forward to every episode. The interaction between the stars was an attraction for me. I feel so disappointed. Reconsider bring it back please!
Whiskey Cavalier is a refreshing get away type of show, great entertainment. If ABC doesn’t pick it up, another station should. Very disappointed in ABC programming for upcoming year.

Why will they cancel it. This is an amazing show. It’s funny, romantic, adventurous, smart and skillful. I love everyone in it even the obnoxious Ray.
So just gonna leave Standish stab on the street do he live or die but Ollerman stays alive so not cool I got a lot of people hooked on the show
