What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Starz premium cable channel, The White Princess stars Jodie Comer as Princess Elizabeth of York and Jacob Collins-Levy as King Henry VII. The Starz cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan. Beginning in 1485, the series tells the end of the saga of England’s War of the Roses and follows the rise of the House of Tudor, as well as the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York to Henry Tudor.

Telly’s Take
Airing on Sunday nights, The White Princess TV show is drawing decent ratings for a Starz series. The cable channel has been calling it a “limited series” but it seems more like a mini-series. I suspect there will only be one season of eight episodes but, if the numbers are good enough, who knows? I’ll keep an eye on the ratings. I didn’t think there would be a season 2 with how it all horrifically ended . But In back of my mind I was looking forward to continuing to watch it, I fell in love with the actors and how well played they did there roles , but I can’t see it continuing with out the threat of his thrown being taken back to the rightful king. Lol
Should have continued. Need to see Arthur marry Catherine of Aragon, then his death, then her betrothal and marriage to Henry the 8th. Could end there, as The Tudors picks up the story from that point.
After watching The White Queen and The Spanish Queen and the White Princess, I am upset there isn’t a season 2 of The White Princess. The end of season 1 left me hanging wanting to see the rest of the story.
I have finished watching season 1 The white princess, I loved it . Is there a season 2?
The main reason I cancelled Starz, they do not follow thru with some of their good shows. This was an excellent show.

Just started watching Star shows. Started with the new one “The Spanish Princess” & loved it . Saw that the “White Princess”was a Prelude to this show & was disappointed that it only had one season. I really enjoyed watching this one as well. Would have loved for it to had continued, too.
Agree Ginger, but start with white queen,then white princess,and you can go into Spanish princess.i am disappointed too about white princess. Very good. Would definitely like to have seen a second season. Trying to binge, and only seeing 1 episode
The Spanish Princess seems exciting but I WANT a second season of the White Princess as well!! It was a GREAT show. Especially after the way the first season ended.
