What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Starz premium cable channel, The White Princess stars Jodie Comer as Princess Elizabeth of York and Jacob Collins-Levy as King Henry VII. The Starz cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan. Beginning in 1485, the series tells the end of the saga of England’s War of the Roses and follows the rise of the House of Tudor, as well as the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York to Henry Tudor.

Telly’s Take
Airing on Sunday nights, The White Princess TV show is drawing decent ratings for a Starz series. The cable channel has been calling it a “limited series” but it seems more like a mini-series. I suspect there will only be one season of eight episodes but, if the numbers are good enough, who knows? I’ll keep an eye on the ratings. How is it that anyone could release a series and only put ONE SEASON on? That is REALLY BAD BUISNESS for the entertainment industry and the loyal and very hooked watchers. BRING BACK “THE WHITE PRINCESS”! You got to have, at least, an ENDING. THATS LIKE WRITING 1/2 OF A BOOK. REALLY????
PLEASE bring back THE WHITE PRINCESS!!! It’s true quality which we NEED more of. Awesome cast, acting and story that appeals to a vast audience. We need this!!!
This was such a great series, I don’t understand why there will not be a season 2? We have to know what happens, the way it ended just isn’t fair to the viewers!
White Princess is the pre-quel to Showtime’s The Tudors, which was my favorite. A season 2 would make sense.
I am really disappointed if this is true regarding a the White Princess! I loved the show! Please, please bring this show back!
One more great show getting the ax. How disappointing. I love a series that you have to pay attention to and follow to keep up with what’s going on. I’m going to truly miss this show.
If this keeps up all we’re going to be left with is nothing but bad sitcoms, reality tv or game shows.

We loved The White Princess. There was a lot of interesting history. Hopefully it will return at a later date.
I love these types of shows, there is so much more story here, I want a second season, I hate those stupid reality shows, give us good old English history. I’m watching more and more PBS , make Starz series worth the money. And, I love Outlander. I’m so interested in this period of History, Tudor, etc. and so is my daughter, bring it back please.
I just finished both seasons of the White Queen and the White Princess. I really enjoyed them and hope they will renew for more seasons!
My mother and I enjoyed the first season of “The White Princess”. We’re hoping there will be a season 2. We love this series.
I really do hope they renew for season 2. I love series based on history of monarchs, AND I LOVE THE CAST.
I wish there were more series like this one. The cast was wonderful.
I love the series! And hope they make another. I would love to see more of the Queens story and see where it takes her. There is still so much to tell. I really do hope they renew for another season. Something they need to start thinking about. Not everyone can watch the show when it’s on tv, alot of us HAVE to wait for the dvd.
