The CW revived the Whose Line Is It Anyway? comedy improv series several years after it ended its run on ABC. It’s done pretty well in the ratings for the network on Friday nights. Will it be renewed for a 12th season or, will it be cancelled instead? We’ll have to wait and see.
Whose Line Is It Anyway? reunites Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady, and Colin Mochrie as they and special guests entertain audiences with improvised comedy skits. Aisha Tyler is the host.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
8/11 update: The CW has ordered another season. Details here.
10/6 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Whose Line Is It Anyway? TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for an 12th season?
Bring back Drew Carey!!!
Love the show. I wish you would make it an hour long.
I tired of this show when Drew Carey was host and didn’t find the resurrected show even as good.
Are you going to explain WHY you dislike this show, or did you just come here to pointlessly complain about a program that technically shouldn’t matter to you anymore on account of how you no longer care about it?
Much like other posters, I can express an opinion on my feeling about a show. Positive posts are not a requirement. But to begin, the skits became repetative, dull, unimaginative and rarely funny. A shadow of what it was in the earlier years. The show lasted long enough. The new host makes the show unbearable.
No, positive posts are NOT a requirement, and yes, you ARE allowed to express a negative opinion about something that is otherwise popular. All that was being asked of you was that you explain WHY you dislike the show. That being said, thank you for finally doing so.
I didn’t like this show before and I don’t like it now. I don’t care for any of the shows on CW. They’re all aimed at those under 40 or younger.
Um…”R”? Whose Line was meant for ALL ages back in the day (1988-98 in the UK and 1998-2006 on ABC), NOT just for the *under 40 (NOT “under 40 and younger”)* crowd. Not only that, but there have been (and are still) PLENTY of people aged 40 and older who’ve watched (and still watch) and learned to like this show throughout its existence. Your dislike for this show—at least its earlier incarnations—is thus very poorly founded. I will admit that the CW is kind of a lousy platform for it, though, especially considering just how many episodes of its programs… Read more »
Love, LOVE this show & always have since 1998….. RENEW it PLEASE!!!!!
Love this show!!!! As someone else said it is a ‘side splitter’. I loved it with Drew as the host & I’m just as happy with Aisha. It’s great when during a ‘skit’ they include people from the audience. I just happened to find it in the last few weeks, so I hope they will keep playing reruns. ” laughter is the best medicine'”….
Please renew new season. Love the show! My husband can always hear me in the other room Lmao!!!
I liked it when Drew was the HOST. A. Tyler is too focused on showing us she can handle the challenge. I don’t really dislike her because I don’t know her. I just don’t enjoy her style on the talk either.
Like the program, especially when Drew Carey was the host. This Ayissa, Who is now the host, is terrible. She is such an idiot & comes across as a racist, many times finding her black comedians so much more funny. She is annoying & ridiculous & is so not funny & adds absolutly nothing to the show as a host. I used to always look forward to this show, these comedians, Ryan, Colin, Wayne, & most of the 4th comedians they have on are hysterical, inventive, brilliant, & beyond entertaining, but this Ayissa is distracting & needs to be dumped.… Read more »
