What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the TNT cable channel, Will stars Laurie Davidson as William Shakespeare. The cast also includes Olivia DeJonge, Jamie Campbell Bower, Mattias Inwood, Ewen Bremner, Colm Meaney, William Houston, Lukas Rolfe, Max Bennett, and Jasmin Savoy Brown. At just 24 years of age, with no social or political advantages, Shakespeare is willing to risk everything in pursuit of his dreams. He dives headlong into the fast and treacherous world of Elizabethan theater, trying to make it as a writer.

Telly’s Take
Will debuted with weak numbers for a TNT TV series and the ratings haven’t gotten better for this young Shakespeare series. It’s TNT’s lowest-rated scripted series so, unless there’s some special financial arrangement, I suspect that Will will be cancelled and not renewed for a second season. I will be so sad if they do not continue this show. I am in love with all of the characters! I binge watched episodes 4-11 in one day when I realized I could watch them all on the TNT app!!! I have never done this, but I am considering contacting TNT directly to let them know my feelings, as well as other’s feelings for this magnificent show!
Please, Please, Please, give us a second season and many more! It is brilliant in many respects and am hooked on all the characters. Everything was well thought out, I can see no one else ever playing the parts of any of these characters–they are all perfectly matched–well done! If we are lucky enough to have season 2, please put it at a descent time to watch, 9pm say. I am hooked!!!

Brilliant! Laurie Davidson seems to have visualized from the pages of the original Shakespearean manuscripts! He’s perfect! Magnificent production! Love the new music and punk rock scene! I was mesmerized from the first moment. Can’t wait to see more than the first ten that I have finished yesterday. Couldn’t stop watching. Even with too many commercials.
I loved this show. The first episode was slow…but what first show showing for the first time isn’t. It got better and better after each episode. The acting was excellent and the writers had me falling back in love with romance, reciting poetry and treachery. I binge watched after I saw you could watch all the episodes. At the end it left me wanting more. Please please please bring this show back. There’s nothing out there like this. ❤️It!

Will is such an excelente show, It has many genres all in one, the actors are superb, very-well written, filmed, there are a lot of people watching It in Argentina and loving It. We need more Will, Alice and Marlowe stories and Elizabethan period, renew it please!!

Best show on TV – have been recommending to everyone and have them binge watching from the beginning. All loving it. Such a fantastic take on Shakespeare, relatable and not some dusty old book. Very cleverly written and so well acted. Jamie Campbell Bower steals every scene he’s in! Please renew!
