What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the TNT cable channel, Will stars Laurie Davidson as William Shakespeare. The cast also includes Olivia DeJonge, Jamie Campbell Bower, Mattias Inwood, Ewen Bremner, Colm Meaney, William Houston, Lukas Rolfe, Max Bennett, and Jasmin Savoy Brown. At just 24 years of age, with no social or political advantages, Shakespeare is willing to risk everything in pursuit of his dreams. He dives headlong into the fast and treacherous world of Elizabethan theater, trying to make it as a writer.

Telly’s Take
Will debuted with weak numbers for a TNT TV series and the ratings haven’t gotten better for this young Shakespeare series. It’s TNT’s lowest-rated scripted series so, unless there’s some special financial arrangement, I suspect that Will will be cancelled and not renewed for a second season. please, please, I beg you, please, renew this wonderful show!!!! I am in love. Will, is visually rich and the writing and the cast are wonderful. I have watched every episode at least 5 times and can’t wait to see more. please do not cancel, this show is like nothing else showing on T.V. and I am so grateful for that. wonderful!!! I love it!!
I truly enjoyed season 1 of “Will” & I hope that I’ll get to see season 2! The show is well written & beautifully acted!
Will is a great show. I think the series was hurt by the absolutely horrible “Star Crossed” debuting at the same time. A rerun of all the first season Will might help.

Definitely, renew. This is historical and literary and fun. The actors are terrific. Love hearing Shakespeare’s language come to life. Renew and keep the Bard’s voice alive!
Will is a very creative, well acted, beautifully designed and shot, and fascinatingly engaging show. One of the best on TV right now. Some quality shows take time to catch their audience. Please renew this show for a second season.

What ratings are you watching? It doesn’t even hit the top 100 usually.
Yes, renew it. This show is so much better than many of the other stuff on TV. It has everything for everyone (I love the way they intertwine the story lines using history and modern times) and, though they take some artistic liberties, a fresh way of profiling the great “Bard”. This is a great show and it would be an injustice to cancel it. Also, it would be a shame to drop it with the tremendous cliffhanger you left us, the fans, with. Come on TNT make it right and bring back “Will”.
I like the show WILL. It can get a bit difficult to watch (torture scenes), but the story line has drawn me in, and the acting is good. I hope it’s renewed for Season 2. It’s better than so much of the drivel on TV right now.

Brilliant show…. The writing, acting, directing and production design are extraordinary…. I watched the entire first season in one day…. and truly hope this outstanding program gets renewed. This really makes Shakespeare contemporary. And it get better and better with each additional episode. So… please renew!!!!!!
I would be so sad if TNT cancelled Will. I love this show and can’t wait for season 2 to air. I would be so upset if I couldn’t continue watching this show…its fabulous!
