The Tiffany Network has some pretty successful dramas, but many of them have grown rather long in the tooth. Now, CBS has introduced its new Wisdom of the Crowd TV show. Does this freshman TV series have what it takes? Will Wisdom of the Crowd be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
A cutting edge CBS crime drama, Wisdom of the Crowd stars Jeremy Piven, Richard T. Jones, Natalia Tena, Monica Potter, Blake Lee, Abigail F. Cowen, and Jake Matthews. After his daughter Mia (Cowen) is killed, Silicon Valley entrepreneur Jeffrey Tanner (Piven) sets out to design an online platform for real-time, crowdsourced crime solving. In his fixation to find his child’s killer, Tanner is motivated by the idea that a million minds are better than one. He recruits a crack team and pins all his hopes on harnessing the “wisdom of the crowd,” in order to solve Mia’s murder and as many others as possible. Meanwhile, Tanner’s ex-wife, Congresswoman Alex Hale (Potter), worries about his obsession. Despite their divorce, their profound grief has forged in them an unbreakable bond. **Status update, below.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
1/15 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

I love this program and the challenges to think, like Numbers used to. I watch so little network programming as it is so inane, and will really miss this program if it is cancelled.
Love the concept of the show. If you cancel over reports on one actor you punish all of your employees. Let the allegations be played out legally. You are taking sides if you cancel the show. The allegations are 2o to 30 years old which was another time and supported a different value system. Change is needed and apologies should be forthcoming if necessary. But do not let the past influence what the future except to welcome change for the better. Why not write in this type of scenario for a segment and put it to a real crowd for… Read more »
How would I go about letting CBS know of my disappointment I their decision to cancel Wisdom? I’m not even a typical local network television watcher but begin to look forward to the next episode the minute the show ends on Sunday night! This show is one of only two shows I have my DVR set to record in case I miss. (The other being This Is Us). Please, if this reaches one person who plays a part in the decision to end this show, think again. I really would love to look forward to another season.
I think it is a great show. The cast are strong and work very well with each other. I feel it was one of the best casting jobs I’ve seen in a while. You know it’s not so much the 18-49 year olds that are watching TV it’s us older folks. I’m 60 and enjoy watching Wisdom of the Crowd and hope u bring it back. It perfect for Sunday night line up.
Please renew! Sexual aligations aside, still a great actor and good show.
This show is awesome, really different than most. I don’t think it should be cancelled due to somebody accusing the star of something that they thought was done to them. Was it recorded, did they speak to somebody in charge? After years go by why now? Unless you were raped or abused let it go it only makes you look like you’re looking for your 5 min of fame. I’m a woman and I think these people are innocent until really proven guilty. That being said, please keep this awesome show on, it certainly better than some you have on.
