Following record-setting viewership, the new Paramount Network today announced a second season of its hit series “Yellowstone.” Production will begin shortly on the 10-episode season which will be shot entirely on location in Utah and Montana. “Yellowstone” chronicles the Dutton family, led by John Dutton (Costner), who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.

Executive producers for “Yellowstone” are John Linson, Art Linson, Taylor Sheridan, Kevin Costner and David C. Glasser. Ted Gold and Lauren Ruggiero are the executives in charge of production for Paramount Network.

In June, the network’s first scripted-comedy “American Woman,” bowed to the highest P/W18-49 and W25-54 ratings for an ad-supported cable scripted half-hour series premiere since early January.”
What do you think? Have you seen Yellowstone? Will you watch season two?
I love this show!!!! My husband and I make we watch every week. I can’t wait for Season 2. We even have it recorded so we can watch Season 1 whenever we want…
Yellowstone is the best thing to hit the television in decades!!! Drama, action, suspense… the list goes on an on and although I tape each episode I can’t wait for each new episode to air! The way the background info has unfolded is genious television writing!!! Costner is superb of course but the star is Kelly Reilly who is layered in such dynamic character portrayal is an Emmy winner for sure! Bravo Paramount for this excellent series….. TV at its finest!!!!
I will definately be watching Yellowstone season 2 and hopefully 3 and 4 as well. While considering ratings, this is a new channel in my area (Dayton Ohio) and I’m still getting used to it being on the line up. Also many people plug shows into their DVRs while watching another show they’re used to watching. Please keep Yellowstone for a couple more seasons—love the drama, the horses, the actors, the show is very good in my lowly opinion! I give it a 10 all the way!
