Freeform no longer has an appetite for Young & Hungry. Today, star Emily Osment revealed the TV show has been cancelled after five seasons.
The comedy stars Osment as Gabi Diamond, a food blogger who becomes the personal chef of wealthy tech entrepreneur Josh Xander Kaminski (Jonathan Sadowski). The cast also includes Aimee Carrero, Kym Whitley, and Rex Lee, and Bryan Safi.
On Twitter, Osment announced the final 10 episodes of Young & Hungry‘s fifth season will be the end for the Freeform TV show. As of now, it is unclear when those episodes will air but they are expected to premiere sometime later this year. The first half of season five wrapped back in May 2017.
Hey everybody, neither me nor anyone else in the cast knows when Young and Hungry is coming back. Our final ten episodes will air this year sometime, but it is still uncertain when that is. I see all your replies, yes I am annoyed too! We love you, please be patient!

Cancelled?….Nooooo! The family and I have been waiting patently for the next season to come out. I really hope another network will realize this show is a hit and decide to continue the series.

I just finished the 5 seasons of this show learning about it from my new/recent Hubs! I am in LOVE and LOVING it!! It is so sad and such a bummer to find out the possibilities of this being cancelled. I believe this show could go on for many seasons. Really Freeform, just having no appetite any longer? Why do we viewers have to starve because your company chooses to?! Toughin up and let us viewers continue enjoying this show!

I think Freeform needs to be cancelled. It is making terrible decisions!! Ever since it changed from ABC Family to one of the stupidest names…what the heck is “Freeform”? Young and Hungry is so funny and Baby Daddy, too!!
