While CBS has plenty of procedural TV shows, the network doesn’t have any dramas that take place in a courthouse — until now. Enter the All Rise TV series. Does this legal drama have what it takes to survive to be a success in the ratings? Will it be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
The All Rise TV show follows the chaotic, hopeful (and sometimes absurd) world of those who work at a courthouse in Los Angeles. It stars Simone Missick, Wilson Bethel, Marg Helgenberger, Jessica Camacho, J. Alex Brinson, Lindsay Mendez, and Ruthie Ann Miles. At the center of this drama series is Lola Carmichael (Missick), a recently appointed judge who was previously a highly regarded and impressive deputy district attorney. She depends on the counsel of people like her Deputy District Attorney Mark Callan (Bethel), Supervisory Judge Lisa Benner (Helgenberger), and pragmatic judicial assistant Sherri Kansky (Miles). Lola pushes the boundaries and challenges the expectations of what a judge can be and receives both support and pushback from those around her.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly on the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/5 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the All Rise TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season on CBS?
*5/6/20 update: All Rise has been renewed for a second season.
Please renew All Rise. I enjoy it so much. Good acting. Interesting characters.
Please renew All Rise
It’s one of our favorite shows!
Great show! Please don’t cancel. Enjoy it me and my husband both.
Good show. Should be renewed
Stopped watching, bad acting no story line. I think I can take everybody except the lady who plays the judge. No Judge acts like her. You can cancel anytime now.
Not a good show. Unbievable. I it
This show is exceptional. I’d hate to see it not renewed for a second season. The impact of courtroom processes deemed out of the norm is a surprisingly fresh view of how Judges can act to have a lasting impact on people’s lives while still serving justice. Please keep this show on the air.
I love the show! Please keep it on the air!
I love this show .. Can’t get enough!
I love this show!!! Please keep it. We are getting to know the characters.
Another worthless show produced by CBS network
I really like this show. It shows various sides of the characters as they go through cases.
Love this show! Keep it on the air!
If like most people you watch one new show the first week didn’t you check out another one the second week to see what you like more, you can’t judge in only two showings. For me all rise is definitely one to watch
The first episode was funny, The second episode was preachy against anyone that agrees with the rule of law, Definitely is written by extreme liberals living in the west coast bubble. Wake up and entertain the other 45 states. The show had great potential.
Boring+ Tedious + Absurd +Weak Storylines + Insipid Characterizations =ALL RISE
I could spend my time better reading a poorly written 5th graders essay on the State of the Nation
I have never suggested cancellation of a program but in good conscience I categorically suggest cancellation of this waste of time
I kept hoping it would improve but that turned out to be pure unadulterated fantasy
