American Housewife revolves around an average wife and mom, Katie (Katy Mixon), who does her best to stand out from the “perfect” housewives and their privileged children of Westport. Katie’s husband (Diedrich Bader) is a logical guy and supports her in every way he can, including working to ensure that their children (Meg Donnelly, Daniel DiMaggio, and Julia Butters) do not end up like everyone else in their neighborhood. Katie’s friends are played by Carly Hughes and Ali Wong.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. My family and I LOVE this show! Cast is perfect and so is the writing. Also, on Wednesdays at work my co-workers and I talk about the show from the night before, we all LOVE it and talk about our favorite lines! PLEASE RENEW this show, its such fun! My other ABC favorites are Modern Family and The Middle!
I am a regular tv watcher. So many shows today are just so unentertaining, dirty or just plain stupid. But this show is truly so much fun. Well casted and sends real and necessary messages. I’d love to see many seasons to come.

PLEEEEZZE… RENEW !!! There are few to no comedy’s anymore what with the “Talent” shows so much cheaper to produce. American Housewife is hilarious and I have them all recorded and have watched them countless times. PLEEEZE RENEW !!!
