Bill Hader is heading to HBO. Variety reports the network has ordered a new series from the former SNL star called Barry.

The comedy comes from Hader and Silicon Valley‘s Alec Berg, who will both executive produce and write the series.

Barry “will star Hader as an ex-Marine who works as a low-rent hitman in the Midwest. Lonely and dissatisfied in his life, he begrudgingly travels to Los Angeles to kill someone and ends up finding an accepting community in a group of eager hopefuls within the L.A. theater scene.”

Alongside Hader, Henry Winkler, Stephen Root, and Sarah Goldberg will star. The series is expected to start shooting in 2017.
