What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Big Brother is a competitive reality TV series, hosted by Julie Chen. It typically airs three nights a week — Wednesdays (veto), Thursdays (eviction), and Sundays. In the 19th season, the new contestants are: Christmas Abbott, Matthew Clines, Dominique Cooper, Elena Davies, Jason Dent, Jessica Graf, Cameron Heard, Mark Jansen, Megan Lowder, Josh Martinez, Cody Nickson, Alex Ow, Jillian Parker, Kevin Schlehuber, Ramses Soto, and Raven Walton.
Big Brother follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 87 HD cameras and more than 100 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week someone is voted out of the house. The last remaining Houseguest wins the grand prize of $500,000. Season 19 features a new twist, the “Den of Temptation,” in which Houseguests will receive offers money, power, or safety, but they all come with consequences.
Season 19 Ratings
The 19th season of Big Brother is averaging a 1.89 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.33 million viewers for the veto editions, a 1.82 and 6.00 million on the eviction editions, and a 1.79 and 6.09 million on Sundays. Compared to season 18, it is up by 2% and up by 4% on veto night, up by 4% and 7% on eviction night, and up by 6% and up by 12% on Sunday night. In On August 10, 2016, Big Brother was renewed for a 20th season which will debut 6/27/18. A special celebrity edition airs this winter. Stay tuned for further updates.

While the linear ratings have fallen over the years, Big Brother remains a big part of CBS’ summer programming. It’s no surprise that they gave the series an early season 20 renewal. After this season #BB19 they can just cancel these Big Brother Shows… It was the worst show #BB ever had! CBS should have never gave a season 2nd runner up Paul such a huge advantage over all these newbie players. Like, with those 8 Safety Friendship Bracelets… Then turned around and Put this stupid DEN OF TEMPTATION into play. That again gave Paul a season 2nd Runner up safety for 3 weeks into the first week of the game… These voters had no ideal that this was going to happen.. I think they should change the elimination procedures. I want the 2 nominated houseguest to compete for their life in the big brother house. I will also like to see being to hoh 2 times in a row

I agree I think that the previous HoH should be allowed to compete in the following HOH competition, but I guess it’s done that way because then the strong people of the house can keep winning and winning and basically dominate the whole game. But some changes would be cool to see. I love BB Im hoping for and all-star season!
