Telly’s Take
Will CBS cancel or renew Blue Bloods for season nine? This Friday night staple has been on the bubble each year. With the current year-to-year ratings declines, I think this could be the year that the Reagan family says goodbye but it probably will survive. What do you think? Are you glad that the Blue Bloods TV show was renewed for a ninth season? How would you feel if CBS had cancelled this TV series, instead?
Blue Bloods is the best show on TV. Love the police procedural portion and especially the family context (home and on the job). Also it is family friendly. Please renew this show.
We would be EXTREMELY UPSET if Blue Bloods isn’t renewed. I feel it helps the public’s perception of policemen and also brings some understanding of their home life. We all have to realize that they are men and woman who chose their profession. I admire how they portray the problems of NYC. I love the Sunday Dinner bcs that’s how we grew up. We record them and watch them over and over. PLEASE KEEP IT GOING. GREAT ACTORS and GREAT SCRIPTS.
I am very happy that Blue Bloods will be back next year. I love the Reagan family and everything they stand for. The season finale was a great way to end this season and leave us looking forward to a fall wedding!!!
This is our favorite show. We started on Netflix this year and caught up to this season. Obsessed with a great family show that is emotional and entertaining.
I so love this show. I watch repeat after repeat. PLEASE renew for season 9. I look forward to it every Friday night!
so happy to see blue bloods get another season…great show..glad we got “grace” back. helps young people see good police, realistic
My wife and I love and never miss the show! We hate that Amy Carlson left, but, what can ya do? It IS time to get Jaime and Janko together, tho!
My husband and I enjoy Blue Bloods every Friday. We really look forward to the family dinner every Sunday. The family isn’t the same without Linda, what happened there? We hope to see the Reagan family for a long, long time, especially Tom Selleck. Oh, by the way, can’t you build up Ms Bakers character?
My understanding is she asked to be written off so she could pursue other opportunities …
I like Blue Bloods. I have been watching for years. Hope they don’t cancel. Also – maybe they could send Nicky to study abroad for a year
Most definitely agree about Nicky
My husband and I really enjoy watching Blue Bloods. We’ve grown fond of the characters and the family values this show embraces. Despiteo Amy Carlson’s not returning for Season 8, the writers did a good job with the script in transitioning her out of the story. Love this show. Please do not cancel!!!
Blue Bloods is by FAR our favorite TV show!! We don’t want to see it end!!
Blue Bloods is STILL one the best shows on TV. Look forward to it every week. Problem with ratings is CBS keeps pre-empting it for other worthless junk. Give the people what they want. Give the Reagan family and find something else to dump for junk like Meghan Markle’s life, etc.
Amen to that..That sort of thing is so frustrating
I have watched BlueBloods from season one thru seven and I waited for season eight to find out how Danny and Linda would handle losing their house, but I don’t watch BlueBloods season eight much because my favorite person on it was Linda and I don’t care for the way outside of Danny and the boys everyone else seemed not to care that she was gone, but they still mourn Joe and I don’t understand why
I must say I have stopped watching Blue Bloods this year for two reasons, first the way CBS killed off Linda. I know it was Amy Carlson choice to leave, but to kill her off during the off season was wrong. Second was the Family dinners, They didn’t say Grace anymore. They were to be a big Irish Catholic family. I am Irish Catholic and it hurt Me when the Prayer stopped.
Blue Bloods/do not cancel. Miss Amy Carlson!
