How will Frank handle the changes in his family and force in the 11th season of the Blue Bloods TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Blue Bloods is cancelled or renewed for season 12. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. A CBS police family drama, Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, Vanessa Ray, and Sami Gayle with Whoopi Goldberg, Will Hochman, Eric B., Abigail Hawk, Gregory Jbara, Robert Clohessy, Steven Schirripa, Andrew Terraciano, and Lauren Patten in recurring roles. The show revolves around the Reagans, a multi-generational family of New York City cops that’s dedicated to law enforcement. Patriarch Frank Reagan (Selleck) is the New York Police Commissioner and runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family. His unapologetically bold father, Henry (Cariou), previously served a stint as Chief. A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son, Danny (Wahlberg), a seasoned detective, family man, and Iraq War vet. Danny sometimes uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his partner, Detective Maria Baez (Ramirez). Frank’s daughter, Erin (Moynahan), is a New York Assistant District Attorney who is also a single parent to her daughter Nicky (Gayle). Frank’s youngest is Jamie (Estes), a Harvard Law graduate and the family’s “golden boy.” He passed on a lucrative future in law and follows in the family footsteps as a cop. Eddie Janko (Ray) is Jamie’s wife and a fellow officer.

Blue Bloods is one of the greatest shows on TV ever. My wife and I look forward to Friday nights because of this show. It’s amazing that it has been on for 11 seasons. The reasons are the writing is consistently top notch. And the cast is stellar and the interplay feels like they are a real family. We hope they are around for a long time. Fridays would not be the same without them.

This show is so warm and all whole heartly It is one of the best shows on. Me and hubby have been watching this since day 1 It is such a good family , good drama. show. The family really knows how to stay together pray together and help each other out. This is the kind of show that we definetly need mor of and I sure hope that we have a whole lot more of blue bloods. I hope Tom Selleck and the entire cast never retire. I wish Nicky didn’t leave, she is missed. This has got to be by far the best show to ever be on television. It honors the family unit in a relatable way. Family’s may not always agree but they still love and support each other. They also include how to be an honest hard working person with good ethics. They also include the church and prayer, wow how refreshing. We need more shows like this. And the bonus is they brought back the Family Sunday Dinner. Most of my family… Read more »
Blue Bloods is our favorite TV series. We never miss an episode and we even watch the reruns! Love all the actors and feel they do an excellent job as their characters. We were really sad to see Linda and we miss her.
It’s very rare nowadays to see heartfelt and morally upright family interactions like we see here. Good job, keep it up!!
I would like to see Blue Bloods renewed. It has a good outcome for each situation they face in their particular job and make difficult decisions that show their feelings for the truth.

This is one of the best dramas on TV. Tom Selleck is excellent. I love that the show displays family values with prayer, church, honesty, family, etc. We do not have enough TV shows today that even come close to this outstanding drama.
Blue Bloods is the best drama on television. Law and order and criminal minds are done…i love love this show. Superior acting compared to other.shows. your audience will never tire of Tom Selleck

It is wonderful to view a program with family values being shown…prayer, attend church, meals together, even with with disagreements.
Glad to see the last program viewed (1/8/21) didn’t show the some family members drinking Not against alcohol drinking but, in past seasons EVERY show had someone having to have an alcoholic drink. At least no one was shown drinking to excess. to deal with some problem issue in their life.

I agree this fantastic show needs to be renewed. Not every episode needs to show drinking, but some should. Families like a drink now and again, and this show how to do it sensibly and responsibily. Keep the show at least as long as Tom Selleck is willing to continue. And … as stated earlier, pay these actors for their excellent work!
