Last season, the ratings for Blue Bloods rose when compared to the previous season. Will they continue to rise or will they fall. Will this CBS show be renewed for a sixth season or will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
Blue Bloods revolves around the Irish-American Reagan family and their work as part of the NYPD. The cast includes Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Amy Carlson, Sami Gayle, Vanessa Ray, and Marisa Ramirez.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/11 update: Blue Bloods has been renewed for a sixth season on CBS.

Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
For comparisons: The fourth season of Blue Bloods averaged a 1.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 11.52 million total viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

both my hubs and i love love love this show.
Sooooooo love this show!!!!!!
One of best shows on TV. The acting is great. The only part I don’t like is Jamie and Eddie.
This is a fantastic show! I will not miss it. I think the dinner scenes were a stroke of genius–a great idea. Very well cast. All plots very well woven together. Always look forward to next episode.
Please don’t cancel Blue Bloods. I love love love this show.Great cast, story line. Please don’t cancel. Thank you.
I love the show great stories a good actors,
Blue Bloods…..one of my husband’s and my favorite shows!!! Hope they never take it away from us!!! This show goes behind the scenes of the normal police-style drama; a family of cops both on the job and in their home(s).
My husband watches Blue Bloods & I have to distract myself with my laptop or a good book. The show drives me crazy! Selleck with his breathy sighs & the way he slurps his coffee, & his sanctimonious platitudes – barf! And those family dinners: What’s with all the clinking & clanging sound effects? I have to plug my ears! Then there are the insufferable political comments re the ACLU, MSNBC, etc. Please, get rid of this show!
I suggest you wear earplugs or go in to another room while hubby watches Blue Bloods (like I do when football comes on). Blue Bloods is a GREAT show and dinner time is the best. If YOUR table is quiet, I feel sorry for you, there IS clanking of silverware with that many people at a table. Love Frank/Tom. Don’t like it, go find somewhere else to be at the time. I also feel sorry for your husband if he has to live with your incessant whining about a show HE apparently LIKES.
Seaturtle…I agree with SOME of what you have to say. I think it definitely is a great show…with the exception of a few things, e.g. those delicious Sunday dinners that many of us couldn’t even afford. I think there is overkill there and more focus should be placed on some of the other characters…Baez, Baker, Eddie (and Jamie). Every week we “look forward” to the same huge (and delicious dinner..my mouth is watering) and politics in the office. Let’s eliminate this at least once, give Commissioner Reagan the week off, and look into the lives of Baez, Baker and a… Read more »
Keep Blue Bloods on, please. It’s a decent, scripted ( NOT “reality” ) show with a good cast and is a bright light in the Friday night TV wasteland.
LOVE Blue Bloods! Family, Values, Ethics, and bonds.
Love the dinner table sceens
I’m emotional one minute Laughing the next.
Woops typo… Love the dinner table scenes
I am obsessed with Blue Bloods, please never take it off the air, my all time favorite show on TV. I have been writing episodes myself for Blue Bloods. if only had the right contacts. Would like to share them with the right people. The casting director was on target, everyone fits where they should, I love every character. Of course Tom Selleck is my favorite, but also in love with, Henry, Danny, Jamie and all the rest of family, also love Garrett
