What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, Boy Band features still undiscovered singers facing off to become part of the next music phenomenon. British singer-songwriter Rita Ora hosts the show, with Tim Mosley (a.k.a. Timbaland), Nick Carter, and Emma Bunton serving as architects, and Alan Blackstone as musical director. Just 30 contestants are selected to compete for one of 18 spots in a total of three bands. Each episode features a new theme, and the architects shuffle the members around to find the best combinations to perform on live TV. Those selected for elimination go head to head in the solo survival song round, and home viewers vote to save their favorite. In the season finale, the five man band is announced, performs their new single for the first time, and receives a Hollywood Records recording contract.

this show was honestly the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. a second season would be amazing but i also don’t want a second season because i don’t want everyone leaving the original guys and go to the new ones. i love this show with a passion. especially jhype. i love him. check him out

I love this show. Music is my whole life. The boys love doing this to. It deserves a second season. I love this music and this show so much.
This was literally my favorite show in the history of shows. I mean you can’t forget about the boys on season one, you can’t replace them but this show was an amazing way to hear new music and hear different versions of some of the best songs. So, this show should be renewed for a season two 🙂

it should sooooooo get a second season
I didn’t think I would enjoy this show since I am by no means a teenager. However, my sister talked me into watching and it is a really good show. I think, if it would have gotten more publicity it would have been well received. It deserves a 2nd season, IMO. I am not happy with the judging process though. It is advertising America picks and that has not been the case. Audience favorite Devin was just given the heave ho by manipulation of the two boys put in the bottom…..
