Charmed fans may soon see the original series cast together again. Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs reunited on a recent episode of Grey’s Anatomy as a pair sisters. Following that appearance, the possibility of the pair bringing their Charmed characters back to life started being talked about by fans.
A new Charmed is currently airing its second season on The CW. Melonie Diaz, Madeleine Mantock and Sarah Jeffery star in the new series. The original Charmed aired for eight seasons before it wrapped in 2006.
Alyssa Milano was asked about the possibility of a Charmed reunion during a recent episode of Access Hollywood, and she did not toss it aside. The actress admitted that she and Combs had talked about bringing their Charmed back to life. She even teased the possibility of movies on Netflix.
She said the following, according to The Wrap:
“I mean, Holly and I talk about ‘Charmed’ movies a lot, you know. Because they have the new ‘Charmed,’ which is on The CW, and it’s a very different storyline… It’s a different show and it felt like they were trying to capitalize off the name but not continuing on the storyline or the legacy. So it was tough. But we have been talking about maybe doing some films for Netflix. And so I think that would be really fun and I think it’s a great way to celebrate our fans that have stuck with us for such a long time but still give it new blood.”

I would love to see a movie or some remake of the original Charmed. They could have all 4 actresses because they could conjure Prue back from the dead like they bring Grams and the mother back. There could be a story line of Wyatt and Chris and what’s going on now with everyone including Cole and Zanku. As far as the new Charmed goes I gave it a chance but I do not like it what so ever.
Please! Not on Netflix! Not everybody has, or can afford, Netflix. Comeback on regular tv for everyone!!
The new Charmed lacks EVERYTHING that made the original great; cohesiveness, characters, ethical & entertaining charm & comraderie, and undeniably fabulous storylines. Other than the clothing becoming more & more unacceptably minimal (except for my fav, Piper), the original was a landmark family favorite. Begone new Charmed & come back to us Piper, Phoebe, Leo & kids (& cop guy) Find a way to bring back Prue! McGowen never fit in. HUGS to all the originals w/much love & anticipation.
Love the old Charmed 1998-2006. Make the movie.
Yes, I would love to see the original Charmed gang back together with Chris and Wyatt continuing the legacy of the 3P’s.. But with the sisters there to share their wisdom…. The New Charmed and their time line really sucks. It’s dark(and I mean that literally!) Must be on a cheap budget.. Can’t afford lighting!! I dislike the new Charmed.. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL CHARMED!!!
I loved the original Charmed show and truly miss it. I have only seen the new Charmed show once and felt it was STUPID. Nothing to do with the original story. BRING back the original Charm sisters and their offspring. They are the true charmed sisters.
I absolutely love the original Charmed and would love to see a reunion show with the original cast members now. How Wyatt and Chris have grown, Leo and Pipers relationship. If they ever had a girl. Phoebe and Coops realtaionship and how it’s grown plus their girls and their powers, Paige and Henry’s relationship and Paiges job plus their kids and their powers. I cant even stand to watch the new charmed..i was half way hanging in there for the sake of the beloved name right up until the first episode of season 2…no book of shadows..no halliwells…the elders are dead..no more white lighters..that show IS NOT AT ALL CHARMED! It is simply…NOT Charmed. It took everything we love away and left only what we didnt want. Id frikking pay anything to see a REAL CHARMED REBOOT! Of course I would love to see the Halliwell sisters back together again. I’d love for Prue and Paige to meet each other. Netflix, please make it happen.
I have never seen the new Charmed series. I don’t like those girls, they have nothing to do with the original ones.
