NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

They finally had a decent show that had more action than 24. There was no reason to take it off NBC needs to bring it back!
I am sick of realty shows. Are the writers on strike again or is it they can’t write anymore. Chase, Lie to me, Target. These are good shows and many more that have been taken off and replaced with a realty show or some ignorant show with 20 year olds that can’t act. I guess it is time to turn off the TV and start reading again. Nothing to look at
You got to bring this show back, and there are no if’s and’s or but’s about it!!!!!!!!!! This show was fantastic, and the first few episodes had me, my mom, cousin, and several friends on the edge of our seats it’s so damn good!!!!! So get this up and running again. what’s wrong the way ratings are taken doesn’t seem to be to legit.
Man I really enjoyed that show never missed a episode. Bring it back or im switching all together to CBS.

I really looked to watching these exciting episodes every week. The people seemed real and the stories realistic and exciting. I enjoyed seeing the scenery in Texas. The border intrigues were exciting also. The characters were interesting in their own rite. I would like to see the rest of the episodes. A good dramatic series is far better than all the silly contrived “reality serieses”.
It is a good show with great acting. Bring it back. We don’t need another reality show

Family of 4 here…loved the show…very disapointed that it may not contiune. I think people hadn’t had a chance to get into it yet…we stumbled upon it by accident…if it had been advertised more the ratings may have been better!
I’m really tired of televison canceling all the really good shows and replacing them with crap reality tv! That’s why its haed for people like me to ever watch primetime tv instead of cable! Get a clue folks in tv, people over the age of 25 are getting tired of reality what can which idiot do for what money tv! BRING BACK OUR TV!!!!!
