NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

It is really sad that good t.v like Chase is cancelled but Jersey Shore lives on!!! Television now in days is a complete failure all of these horrible reality T.V series polluting the screen! I seen the main character on Law & Order SVU so I doubt Chase will be making a come back! I really enjoyed that show!

Chase was a way good show, its about time there was a show with a leading female cop!
Liked the show. My husband liked it also. Maybe it just needs to find the right slot. Let the last episodes air and hype the ads. People will watch during the hiatus!

i loved chase!! it was so awsome and they should put it on tuesdays. nothing is on tuesday really so they could get better ratings. they left it at an awsome monet but they should really give it one more try 3rd times the charm!
That show was my favorite show i couldnt wait to get home from work to watch it! I was very dissappointed when it was canceled. I think it didnt catch on because it wasnt advertised enough i happened upon it by chance!!!! BRING IT BACK GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE!!!!

Chase ‘is’ a great action drama series. Ten time better than the game show that is currently in its spot. Shame on NBC for not seeing the potential of Chase and the many others that it has cancelled.

Chase is one of my fav. shows and like a few of my other show I liked it has to get canceled. Let it come back. people will watch it!!!!!!
