A Hallmark Channel Canadian-American drama, the Chesapeake Shores TV series stars Meghan Ory, Treat Williams, Diane Ladd, Robert Buckley, Barbara Niven, Laci J. Mailey, Emilie Ullerup, Brendan Penny, and Andrew Francis. Jesse Metcalfe guests. The store explores the lives of the O’Brien family, after the homecoming of eldest daughter Abby O’Brien (Ory), a high-powered career woman and divorced mother of two. Over the past few seasons, Abby has leaned on her family to strike a balance between her professional and personal lives. This season will see her coming into her own as her father Mick’s (Williams) new business partner and facing a new challenge when successful and eccentric entrepreneur Evan McKenzie (Buckley) brings a new development project into town.

How can you not watch this show. There’s always something there that catches your attention. Never a dull moment. Love this show ❤️
Can you tell me where is that attention catcher. The show is all over the place there is no theme, no story to follow, all is clips of people that are not facing their problems and hiding over excuses.

I love the show and all the characters, i hope to see the series continue, what will come of Mick and Megan, will Connor go against the family or walk away, will Jess and David survive the power of the Peck family, will Bree connect with her nemesis Please keep it going!
Watched the show mostly for Trace and Abby relationship. Will see how remainder of season five goes without him. Like other characters but may not be enough to hold my interest. Glad Jesse still doing Martha’s Vineyard mysteries.

So glad Trace character is gone as well as his music…Abby deserves a better love interest. Love the characters Bree and David and Jess…actually I like all of them and look forward to how the stories develop in season 5. Thank you.
I am very sad that Jesse departed the show. I’ve been watching CS since 2016 and believe it was a mistake not letting Trace and Abby marry. I truly hope he wants to come back. I love all the stars, but I don’t see Abby settling with anyone else. In this episode she is worried about her daughter’s and there will never be anyone to love the girls more than Trace. I don’t know if I’ll continue to watch after episode 2.

I like the show, I understand Jess and Abby high school sweetheart Jess wasn’t really for marriage at the time Abby left for New York got married life line for some and come back Jess had to build for Music career Ilike the story line on the others people in show please don’t cancel the show
What about all the sacrifices he did to show her he really love her meanwhile she never did any for him. Did anyone pay attention?
I think it was huge mistake letting Jesse Metcalfe go. Not sure I will watch much longer. I think that it is now just another show. Hope Hallmark uses him , especially in Martha’s Vineyard mysteries.
Getting rid of Trace is a big mistake without him its just a run of the mill show

So glad Abby is finally getting rid of the dead weight of Trace in her life. Honestly, I never believed their relationship and, other than their good looks, could never buy that these two people would be together, other than Abby perhaps acting out against her parents in high school. And we all know how those relationships go. Always felt the show was an ensemble family drama and am excited to delve deeper into the dynamics of the other characters.
Agree! It was always the O’Brien FAMILY that I liked watching. I like the family drama and the new characters
