This medical drama TV series set in Chicago’s new trauma center, is the third installment in Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise, and includes crossovers with Chicago Fire and Chicago PD. The doctors, nurses, and staff treat the city’s most severe traumas, at their state-of-the-art facility.
Bright, disciplined, and capable, trauma fellow Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) is the newest doctor at Chicago Med. The always reliable ER chief resident, Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), back from a stint in New York, is the brother of Chicago PD’s Detective Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Sofer).
Insightful and brilliant, Chief of Psychiatry Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt), could use a dose of his own medicine, when it comes to managing his personal life. Accomplished and demanding, yet humane, Chief Administrator of Clinical Operations, Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson), ensures her staff has what it needs to provide their patients excellent care.
In the third trimester of her pregnancy at the series premiere, ER pediatric medicine specialist, Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto), devotes herself to her young patients. Trained as naval combat physician, the unflagging but impetuous Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) has a keen interest in infectious diseases.
Dr. Sarah Reese (Rachel DiPillo) is a fourth-year medical student. A quick study who is used to being good at everything, she is finally being challenged. Nurse April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta) excels at her job and is the heart and soul of the ER.

What do you think? Do you like the Chicago Med TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I watch very little TV. Chicago Med and Chicago Fire are my favourites. I sincerely hope they both keep for a long time. The characters are good, the acting is great, the story line is often riveting. Thank you to both!!!
I love all of the Chicago series: Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD. I am a faithful follower. I may not watch it while it is on, but I do DVD it so I can watch it at a time that is more conducive to my schedule. Please, please, please, do not cancel any of the Chicago series. I would be highly disappointed!!!! Thank you.
We love watching Chicago Med. A great series.
I love all 3 of the Chicago series. Chicago Fire is my favorite by far, however I also love Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. I honestly think NBC would lose ratings and viewers by cancelling and of the Chicago series. They are awesome a lot of room to grow with these shows. The crossovers are awesome the characters on all the shows work together very well. Not too mention Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D crossover all time Antonio and Gabby are brother sister, the on again off again Antonio and Brett relationship. Dropping any of the Chicago series would be… Read more »
I like all three of the Chicago shows, but I like Chicago Med the best. I hope all three of them continue for a long time.
Chicago Meds is my favorite show. Please do not cancel it.
Great scripts, great acting and one of the best medical programs.
Please continue this series. It is well done and keeps a great story line. I love this series as it very true to life and eliminates so much violence.
I love all 3 Chicago shows, I really love Chicago Med. I want Med to stay on the air. Of all the shows on tv, during the off season that drove me nuts waiting for the new season to start was Fire & Med.
Chicago Med is by far the best of the 3 Chicago series. I’ve been waiting for it to come back. Please do not cancel this show. It is a very well run series and definitely needs to return asap.
