The premiere was down by 50%, when compared to last season’s debut. However, that was on a Monday night and this season’s debut was on opposite the 7th World Series game so we’ll have to wait until next week to get a good idea of how many people are truly tuning in. Having said that, this is still a lousy start for the season.
Reference point: The 2010-11 season averaged a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.19 million viewers.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Chuck TV series? Do you think it should end or return for a sixth season?

I agree with all the above that CHUCK should have been extended. It is a good family fun show with drama, loving caring people and comedy. The cast is great and unfortunately, once again, a good family enjoyed show is gone. Bring it back ! The cast too! It was a mistake to cancel it.
I think that chuck should have been renewed come on, you should get people to get more attention to it and have had people with sending in donations to help save the show and to make to where you have a lot more people watching, please bring back chuck for another one or two more seasons and try to get the fans involved, the more fans you involve the better a show gets that means ask the fans of what they need to add to the show to make it to help keep it on, I hope when season 5… Read more »
Chuck is grate !!! More Chuck to the people
This is my absolute favorite T.V. show and I’m pretty disappointed that it’s over. They could have at least added a few more episodes at the end.
Chuck shouldn’t have went off the air. One of the best shows on television. The last real show on television that our family could watch and love. Nothing to replace it with. Still can bring it back.
I think that they should add one more extended ending to the series. I thought it was a bitter sweet ending, and could have been improved. Not saying I didn’t like it, or I think that the ending should have been fairy tale like, just that I was somewhat disappointed.
Warning Spoiler Questions!
Why does Chuck have to still have the intersect in his head at the end?
Why couldn’t Sarah remember/ act like Sarah used to when she really loved him?
Did Casey end up getting Gertrude?
[…] marks the end of the NBC series. Chuck escaped being cancelled many times during its run due to low ratings and now, it’s time to say […]
I have never missed an episode of “Chuck”! I am so disappointed to see it go! My only consolation is that they now have enough episodes to allow syndication, so maybe TNT or USA will air the series from the first episode! I hope the finale is satisfying this week – I’m excited, but I keep thinking – this is the last night of “Chuck”, I can’t believe it! Good luck to all the actors, I hope to see you (them) again!
I have been a fan of Chuck since it first came on. I will hate to see it end. i hope the 2hr event will go off with a great ending.

no keep it going this is a grate show.
please keep chuck on the air it’s a perfect light weight show.
My dad watches Chuck and Blue Bloods on Fridays. He loves those shows. I’m planning on watching the series finale of Chuck with my dad on January 27.
its sad to know this is the last season of CHUCK but they should of give it a full season.this seasons stories for chuck are not that good. it seems they just dont care an they want to get it over with. i wish chuck could of had a couple more seasons its sad to see it go
I love the show. Its stupid, but I still love it. There has only been two or three terrible episodes. The actors are excellent. They need to fire the script writers, and get more talent in that department.
The show is doing CW numbers. There is no way it will make it to next season, or NBC is in much worse condition than I thought.
