Bailey’s music career has been cut short again. Netflix has cancelled Country Comfort so, there won’t be a second season of this multi-camera comedy series.
Created by Caryn Lucas, Country Comfort stars Katharine McPhee, Eddie Cibrian, Ricardo Hurtado, Jamie Martin Mann, Pyper Braun, Shiloh Verrico, and Griffin McIntyre, with Eric Balfour and Janet Varney in recurring roles. When her career and personal life get derailed, an aspiring young country singer named Bailey (McPhee) takes a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau (Cibrian) and his five children. With a never-give up attitude and loads of Southern charm, the newbie-nanny is able to navigate the family dynamics and be the mother figure they’ve been missing. To her surprise, Bailey also gets the band she’s been missing in this musically talented family who help get her back on the road to stardom.
The series launched in March of this year with a first season of 10 half-hour episodes. There won’t be any more. The streaming service has also dropped comedies Bonding, The Crew, and Mr. Iglesias.
I am so disappointed that Country Comfort is cancelled on Netflix. I loved season 1 . Netflix get it together and bring season 2 on don’t cancel

Also love Kevin James in the Crew and Me. Iglesias. There is so much violence in programming that it was so good to have these shows to watch. Come on Netflix
Disappointed is an understatement. I know several people that watch it and several more that planned on watching it. It was a GREAT family comedy. I truly hope they reconsider this decision.

Yes, I was very disappointed that Country Comfort was not renewed. It was a wholesome family show. It was a bit cheesey sometimes but cute and the kids on that show were awesome performers, both singing and acting. I enjoyed the plot and was hoping it would be renewed. It was a show you could watch and not be ashamed of the content!

Very disappointed and upset. I hate it when networks and streaming services cancel shows on a cliffhanger. Did Bailey win or not. Does she continue with her career with the kids as her band. Does Brody and Jo become an item, if Netflix doesn’t want to continue, let CMT take over. I like the show very much. I’m a country music fan and I drew me to the show. End a series properly.
I don’t understand why Katherine mcPhee’s series was dropped I enjoyed it. Please rethink your actions.

This is super disappointing. Huge mistake by Netflix! This was a great family show, wholesome, great writing and loved watching with my kids. We were so looking forward to season 2!! I pray they rethink this and bring it back.
I think it was too wholesome..thats the problem. They only wanna keep the trashy stuff. Many good shows have been canceled by Netflix. It’s very unfortunate.

Couldn’t agree more. My family prefers wholesome viewing, and that was it. Also The Crew, and Mr Iglesias. Netflix is not family friendly.
