Bailey’s music career has been cut short again. Netflix has cancelled Country Comfort so, there won’t be a second season of this multi-camera comedy series.
Created by Caryn Lucas, Country Comfort stars Katharine McPhee, Eddie Cibrian, Ricardo Hurtado, Jamie Martin Mann, Pyper Braun, Shiloh Verrico, and Griffin McIntyre, with Eric Balfour and Janet Varney in recurring roles. When her career and personal life get derailed, an aspiring young country singer named Bailey (McPhee) takes a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau (Cibrian) and his five children. With a never-give up attitude and loads of Southern charm, the newbie-nanny is able to navigate the family dynamics and be the mother figure they’ve been missing. To her surprise, Bailey also gets the band she’s been missing in this musically talented family who help get her back on the road to stardom.
The series launched in March of this year with a first season of 10 half-hour episodes. There won’t be any more. The streaming service has also dropped comedies Bonding, The Crew, and Mr. Iglesias.
I really enjoyed this show I’m really frustrated that they had to cancel it. So disappointed that a really good show came out. Same with man with a plan I enjoyed that one too and it’s canceled 🙁 they can keep dumb shows on but cancel the good ones so not fair.
Can’t believe this show has been cancelled. It just goes to show you this world is going to hell in a hand basket. You finally find a good family show that your kids can watch and they cancel it! I guess it doesn’t have enough sex and violence in it. Cancelling the good shows, such as Mr. Iglesias and this show, but you’re ok with airing a show about sex trafficking. Shame on you Netflix!!! I will be cancelling my subscription!!!!
This was a good family show. I guess there just wasn’t enough raunchy content. Shame on you Netflix for doing your part to see good values going down the drain!!

Seriously canceled? It’s a 2021 Emmy Nominee!!! This is one of the reasons I have just had it with streaming or TV in general. You really find yourself interested in a series then it’s gone..
I did not know it was up for a 2021 Emmy!! They are crazy to drop this. So few good shows everyone can watch together.

Finally a family friendly show. The kids loved it too! Fun for the whole family! Too bad Netflix doesn’t see the need for that in today’s word.
Well like the other vim mentors I read, canceling a good show seems to be the new normal keeping ridiculous shows that main stream media and the minority viewers tout as being inclusion and diverse. I repeat what the minority thinks…….the show was apparently too white, too southern/Midwestern, and showing what the hard working values of Americans can get you when you work hard for yourself. So sad.
I am so tried of watching a new show only to have it canceled without a proper ending. It like realizing the book you’re reading is missing the lost few chapters. I will stick with movies from now on. At least I know there’s an ending.
Well Netflix, like the rest of the world, has gone crazy to hell. They were very stupid to cancel Country Comfort. Snowing that they, too, have brain dead people working in the top. So sad. That’s how she keeps spinning…
I loved the series. It reminded me of The Nanny but had its very own charm. And it‘s a series you really can watch. No sex, no crime, and every episode ends with a little lesson to learn.

I really enjoyed this show and would love for it to continue! We need to be promoting these types of shows not canceling them. Bring it back
I guess there wasnt enough killing, nudity and cursing in Country Comfort to suit Netflix. Such a shame they cancelled the series. I enjoyed watching it
So disappointed that the aren’t going to do a second season this show is great shows and teaches so much…the cast are all amazing super cute and funny show. They really need to rethink cancelling it all out and do a season 2 and beyond.
