In the past few years, ABC has had some trouble establishing drama series for more than a season or two. This year, the Alphabet Network started a helpful course of treatment with The Good Doctor, which did well enough in the Nielsen ratings to garner a second season renewal. Other freshman dramas like Deception and Marvel’s Inhumans haven’t fared so well and are in danger of cancellation. Now they’ve introduced The Crossing TV show. Which course will this new thriller follow? Will The Crossing be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
An ABC sci-fi TV series, The Crossing stars Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Sandrine Holt, Georgina Haig, Tommy Bastow, Rob Campbell, Rick Gomez, Marcuis W. Harris, Grant Harvey, Jay Karnes, Simone Kessell, Kelley Missal, Luc Roderique, and Bailey Skodje. Luke Camilleri recurs in the first season. The story unfolds in the small Oregon fishing town of Port Canaan. Tranquility there comes to an abrupt end, when 47 evacuees from a war-torn country wash up on the shore. The newcomers aren’t just any refugees seeking asylum — they’re Americans from 180 years in the future. As the hunt for the truth grows, it will change the lives of the townies and their new guests, forever.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
6/10 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated charts, please try reloading the page. You can also see them here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

Why ABC why..
Please keep The Crossing. This is the best ABC show in a long time. Probably since Luke and Laura…. on GH back in the day.
Please do not cancel The Crossing!!! It is my favourite show! It’s the only thing I look forward to Monday for! I am so tired of getting hooked on a show to have it cancelled.
DO NOT CANCEL The Crossing!!!! It’s been one of the only shows I look forward to. New shows don’t get long enough to be judged fairly!!! And only counting DVR ratings until 3 AM IS STUPID!! Some people work long hours and don’t catch up u til the following weekend. Many people have school sports and other functions and don’t find out about it until Season 2!!!!! I’m sooo tired of getting hooked on something and it being cancelled without a fair shot!! Like Time After Time. I LOVED THAT SHOW AND it was CANCELLED!!! Please wake up and give… Read more »
Please don’t cancel The Crossing. It is a very good show.
#Save_The_Crossing, FIRE the ABC Talent Manager, not the show.
The Crossing has the potential to become the next X-Files, Lost, The Walking Dead.
Remember that Seinfeld was almost cancelled after season 1 episode 6. X-Files almost didn’t get a 2nd season.
ABC used to be a Top 3 network since 1955, now
ABC= Always Be Cancellin.

I like it and am an involved viewer, but it’s taking too long to ‘splain itself.
Love The Crossing. Fingers crossed it’s renewed for a second season.
I’m sick of time traveling shows. Yes the crossing is good, likable but future stories being stupid.
Now I dislike this repeating story, seriously what’s good or cool in this show? I wish I could get a refund from iTunes.
I was very impressed by the first episode and look forward to seeing more.
