What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Deputy was created by Will Beall and stars Stephen Dorff, Yara Martinez, Brian Van Holt, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Shane Paul McGhie, and Mark Moses. The show follows an ensemble of ambitious and complicated people who won’t rest until justice is served. The story begins when the elected Sheriff of LA County dies and an arcane rule in the county charter suddenly thrusts the most unlikely man into the job. A true “white hat”, Bill Hollister (Dorff) is a fifth-generation lawman and is only interested in justice. His close team includes Deputy Cade Ward (Van Holt), Deputy Brianna Bishop (Taylor-Klaus), and Deputy Joseph Harris (McGhie). Hollister frequently butts heads with Doctor Paula Reyes (Martinez), chief trauma surgeon of LA County General Hospital and also, Hollister’s wife.

This is the best show since Longmire!! This is a great show and the people in charge dumb enough to cancel it are just that dumb.

This is was the best show since Parenthood. It has to be brought back. It is a gem. The stores were great. Character development was amazing. Please bring it back!!!!

I cannot believe Fox cancelled this excellent show then has the nerve to advertise the new show about people playing Tag of all things! These reality game shows are ridiculous and it is a wonder that no one has been killed on them. I never find them entertaining. Give me a show like Deputy and I will watch it over and over. They did a great job creating characters and story lines that are current and believable.

This is really sad. For once a decent show with morals & values is on TV and gets cancelled. I will not watch reality TV, or stuff like ***** Guy, or such nonsense. Those issues belong behind close doors of your home.. Shows like Good Girls & How to Commit Murder only hurt our youth. I worked for the Amarillo Police Department for over 5 yrs and this show was REAL. Please renew it.
I really like the show i wish they would make a season 2
This makes me as mad as when ABC cancelled 10-8 both were good shows but I really hope another network picks it up just as how Brooklyn 99 went from fox to NBC
Perhaps if they stopped this whole showing one week, repeat or not in the next that networks are so keen on, it’s give people a chance to pick these shows up.
I’m ashamed of Fox cancelling the best new show on television giving only one season to allow people to find it. It was fast moving with great action and really decent acting.
