What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Deputy was created by Will Beall and stars Stephen Dorff, Yara Martinez, Brian Van Holt, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Shane Paul McGhie, and Mark Moses. The show follows an ensemble of ambitious and complicated people who won’t rest until justice is served. The story begins when the elected Sheriff of LA County dies and an arcane rule in the county charter suddenly thrusts the most unlikely man into the job. A true “white hat”, Bill Hollister (Dorff) is a fifth-generation lawman and is only interested in justice. His close team includes Deputy Cade Ward (Van Holt), Deputy Brianna Bishop (Taylor-Klaus), and Deputy Joseph Harris (McGhie). Hollister frequently butts heads with Doctor Paula Reyes (Martinez), chief trauma surgeon of LA County General Hospital and also, Hollister’s wife.

I really thought deputy was a good show I was very shocked when saw it was canceled. Lot more other shows that should have been canceled and werent
They have a number of shows that should be canceled but not Deputy Maybe they should consider shows for an older generation not just the 18-49 year olds. I’m older love police shows that show the human side of law enforcement especially since I am a retired officer as well as my husband.
Bring Deputy back.
I really liked Deputy and looked forward to it each week. I can’t understand why you would cancel it without giving it a decent chance. It was always good but was getting even better. I was looking forward to the Sheriff’s race for election to the office. They had really gritty storylines.
This really stinks. I do not get interested in new shows very often but this one had me hooked from the trailer.
Deputy was a great show. PLEASE take another look and consider brining it back.
Bring Deputy back it is a great show and family oriented. Much better than some of the other crap that is aired.
I loved the show. Why cater to the younger generation. I am 64 years old appreciate shows like Deputy. Now real life shows like surviorI do not watch. 3 billion should be enough If you keep cancelling shows like Deputy then I will cancel all TV and just do away with the TV.
I cannot understand dropping “The Deputy”..one of the best series on tv and renewing some of the lamest and silliest possible. I looked forward to this series each week. WHY? You had a good audience.
