What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Deputy was created by Will Beall and stars Stephen Dorff, Yara Martinez, Brian Van Holt, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Shane Paul McGhie, and Mark Moses. The show follows an ensemble of ambitious and complicated people who won’t rest until justice is served. The story begins when the elected Sheriff of LA County dies and an arcane rule in the county charter suddenly thrusts the most unlikely man into the job. A true “white hat”, Bill Hollister (Dorff) is a fifth-generation lawman and is only interested in justice. His close team includes Deputy Cade Ward (Van Holt), Deputy Brianna Bishop (Taylor-Klaus), and Deputy Joseph Harris (McGhie). Hollister frequently butts heads with Doctor Paula Reyes (Martinez), chief trauma surgeon of LA County General Hospital and also, Hollister’s wife.

Fox is stupid as usual. The show Deputy 1st episode was just bad many were turned off. I was 1 of them I came back because it was on my DVR. It got my attention and I liked the show. I was trying to find the season premiere to find out it was canceled. I guess as usual I’ll have to watch CBS. Im sure they’ll make 5 more versions of NCIS that are still better than the rest of Fox’s programming.
I do not understand that you keep some terrible comedy shows and cancel the Deputy I will quit watching this channel .
Very disappointed in FOX! This series had 3.66 million viewers and that in your record is NOT enough? Its a fantastic show and should’ve been given a longer chance to run. Sad that Fox keeps trashy series on and cancels great series like this one!

Can not believe the show was canceled did not miss a single episode of season one. Several of us at a park where I work really liked the show and were looking forward to season two . Hope fox reconsiders us being left out to dry wondering what happened? It left us all in suspense. To bad to much trash is on tv today. Instead of something worth watching. And this is why I dont watch fox anymore. To cancel.a great show like deputy is stupid. Every good show fox airs the cancell. It dont make sense. Figure.they would bring wrestling back to the glory days but they failed to do that also.
Please reconsider cancellation of Deputy. It is a great show. My husband & I both loved it, especially the diversity of the cast.
