New York [June 21, 2018] Real estate and home renovation experts Eric and Lindsey Bennett will fix and flip more hot properties in Palm Springs, California, in a new season of HGTV’s Desert Flippers. Premiering on Tuesday, July 24, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the 14-episode season will follow real estate agent Eric and designer Lindsey as they renovate dilapidated homes in a popular real estate market where investment properties are tough to find. The Wisconsin natives – who escaped harsh winters to follow their dream of house flipping in SoCal – will overcome extreme heat and unique desert challenges to create dream homes with high-end amenities and desirable outdoor living areas.
As parents of three young boys, Eric and Lindsey fully embrace the carefree Palm Springs life as they balance a successful business and family. The fun-loving yet driven couple complement each other perfectly. The ever-joking Eric identifies the most promising real estate deals and sticks to the budget while Lindsey, the straight shooter, creates warm yet contemporary designs that fit the resort-like vibe unique to the area.
“Palm Springs may be in the desert, but it’s an oasis unlike any other place in the world,” said Lindsey, while Eric added, “in the desert, an indoor/outdoor lifestyle is the name of the game.”
In the premiere episode, Eric and Lindsey will take a risk on a probate sale, buying a property that has been uninhabited for years and needs a complete overhaul. The duo will design a modern kitchen with an enviable oversized island, a striking feature wall in the master bedroom and spa-like bathrooms. They also will amp up the house’s curb appeal with fresh desert landscaping and refresh the backyard’s existing pool area with outdoor seating for entertaining.”
What do you think? Do you enjoy home renovation series? Will you watch the new season of Desert Flippers?
I love this show! The hosts are charming and the end results are so pretty!
I love this show! Great hosts and terrific results!
Absolutley love this show!! Please don’t let it go away!
Please renew this series. It is my favorite flipping show.
Hope they get a season 4. I love this show!
We are huge fans of Desert Flippers and truly hope they will be returning for a fourth season. Is there any update on the program you can share? I saw an interview with the couple recently and they indicated they are just waiting to hear if they will be picked up for a fourth season. They do incredible work and are such a genuinely nice couple. My wife and I think they both do a great job of explaining the process and ideas they put into each renovation. Here’s hoping for a fourth season of Desert Flippers!
So glad to hear that “Desert Flippers” will return in July. Eric and Lindsey are two of my favorites. They are both so good at what they do.
What happened to Uncle Mike
According to Lindsey (from Desert Sun): When this whole thing started, uncle Mike lived with us. He helped us with the kids and he helped me go in when we were doing one at a time and I needed to do a Hail Mary flooring, like we need to get this floor done. He and I would knock it out overnight. So he’s always been a come-in-and-help-us-as-we-need. But as we were taking on more, doing bigger things, we needed licensed people so it basically came to that. And we need multiple (contractors). Uncle Mike is still around, he’s helping me… Read more »
Dessert Flippers is my favorite HGTV show and I watch a lot of HGTV shows. I like the fact that they transform more of the house compared to other HGTV shows. In addition, they do not do the same renovation in all the houses, such as white kitchen cabinets and countertops. When they do this there is a twist or it is varied. This show gives you an overall idea on how to transform an entire house. The couple is positive and fun. They actually look like they are doing the work themselves. They also explain the process. I would… Read more »
Love, love, love Desert Flippers! The intro “this sand box is our flipping playground” is genius! As a former longtime Palm Springs resident I enjoy Lindsey and Eric’s creative sensibilities, and easy, fun approach to solving the problems at hand. Having their children and Uncle Mike on episodes make watching the show like viewing a family video.
One of my top three HGTV shows, along with Boise Boys, and Love It/List It. The design elements for these shows are all excellent. Eric and Lindsey work wonderfully together (and like other posts, inquiring minds want to know what happened to Uncle Mike). Eric is a goofball but in a good way. Lindsey helps keep the projects together, and I just love her smile. The mid-century modern designs are so well done, and the transformations are amazing. My only peeve: I realize it’s Palm Springs, but I loathe incorporating cactus in places where people or pets are vulnerable to… Read more »
I love this show so much..it makes me want to move to the desert. You two are so talented and fun. Your children are adorable..keep it up
I love love love this show..you too Tell great
I saw this show for the first time a few days ago. I thought it was very good. I enjoyed the great interaction this couple has; it appears that they have great chemistry, respect and love for each other. I like that they are so positive and that bickering or negative are not the main focus. It happens with other similar shows. I think Lindsey is wonderful and caring. The guy is funny and nice. I would love to see an episode where she can call the shots as oppose to having to convince the “man” to allow her to… Read more »
