As we reported earlier, Netflix has cancelled Disjointed. Now, the cast and crew are sharing their thoughts on the TV series’ cancellation.
From Chuck Lorre, the comedy centers on Ruth (Kathy Bates), the proud proprietor of a Los Angeles-area marijuana dispensary. The cast also includes Dougie Baldwin, Elizabeth Ho, Chris Redd, Tone Bell, Aaron Moten, Elizabeth Alderfer, Betsy Sodero, Nicole Sullivan, Michael Trucco, and Mae Harrington.
On social media, Disjointed star Michael Trucco as well as showrunner David Javerbaum and producers Ron Hart and John D. Beck shared their thoughts on the Netflix series’ cancellation.

Par excellent cast and was savoring the 2nd 10 episodes…and now this. WHY??? This show is unique,funny,informative and just plain GREAT TO WATCH!!! NETFLIX….WAKE UP….Sometimes it takes a minute to find shows…I’ve told everyone I know about this show….PLEASE GET PICKED UP BY ANOTHER STREAMER!!!!!! The issues are real…..the characters more developed than uou’d think…and SO FUNNY!!!!!
So Dissapointed that this show has been cancelled! I got so many people watching this series. Everyone loved it! This show made me laugh so hard and it was well done.

Bad move! We loved this show. Honestly, I am just shocked it won’t be coming back. I loved the cast. We looked forward to the show every week. The best medicine is laughter, whether you smoke pot or not. I think it’s time to re-evaluate my subscription to Netflix. You know know a hit program if it smacked you in the face. I’m pulling the plug on your lame a$$e$
Upon discovering that Disjointed was cancelled, I dropped my Netflix account. Maybe Amazon or Hulu will pick it up.
REALLY DISAPPOINTED THAT DISJOINTED WAS CANCELLED! What is wrong with everyone? Get over yourselves! I don’t smoke weed, but totally and completely understand and appreciate the medical side of it. Furthermore, I come from a decade of Cheech and Chong movies! It’s funny and way better than Cheech and Chong!
Sorry that I’m late to the party. I didn’t discover this show until just recently.
You know, when the cancellation of Roswell was announced after two seasons, fans sent bottles of Tabasco sauce (that was a thing on the show) into the network and they ended up doing another season. I say we start a similar protest. Lets send in our a pack of rolling papers along with our heartfelt letters about what this show means to the many people who are finding relief using the natural remedy and enjoying a laugh along the way.

So tired of paying for Netflix and finding little to watch. Disjointed was a funny, fun, well-conceived show that made me finally feel I was getting something for my money. Now they decide to end the show. Yet another idiotic programming decision. I was unaware they made this decision, and I can only hope someone has the good sense to revive it.
Are you kidding me?! Finally a great show that doesn’t have nonstop sex and violence shoved down my throat and they give up on the one small joy of Netflix before it could even catch its following. When it gets picked up somewhere else, and FYI it will, I’ll be cancelling my subscription to go where the cool kids are.
I watched every episode twice … I love this show! The characters are both real and funny and reflects different issues people face these days, and have been facing for a long time. I totally agree with all of Red’s comments, as well.
My husband and I have long lamented that anything really smart and funny on TV gets cancelled so we are very reluctant to start watching new series. Sadly it’s happened again with this show. I hadn’t laughed like that in a long time and I said that I didn’t believe they could keep it up after the first show, the laughs came one right after the other. They proved me wrong, happily! Finally something enjoyable comes out of the Netflix factory and it gets canceled. I could rant on but suffice to say I am extremely disappointed at this development
I can’t believe Disjointed has been cancelled. It was one of the most funniest and enjoyable shows my husband and I have loved in a very long time. The cast ( including the great Kathy Bates) were all terrific and knowing Chuck Lorre was involved in creating the show, it’s sad to know it won’t be returning. Whomever chose not to renew Disjointed definitely needs to lighten up (figuratively NOT, inhaling YES) and know that a big mistake was made in cancelling Disjointed. Just started watching this show and fell in love after the 3rd episode. It was an incredible cast and it felt genuine, which is rare. I watched off the strength of Kathy Bates. This was a unique show in so many ways. It was a show that Had all the makings to be on regular TV. but it worked so well on Netflix because it wasn’t censored. Sad is an understatement.
