Expedition Bigfoot is coming back for a second season. Travel Channel has renewed the series, and it will premiere with new episodes in January. Russell Acord, Ronny LeBlanc, Dr. Mireya Mayor, and Bryce Johnson are the team searching for the mysterious bigfoot. During the first season of the series, the team moved one step closer to finding the legendary creature.
Travel Channel revealed more about the return of the series in a press release.
“2020 may just be the year the world turned upside down. But for Travel Channel’s Expedition Bigfoot team, it was a rare moment in time when three very important sets of data converged – and put them one step closer to capturing evidence of the legendary, elusive creature. The “Expedition Bigfoot” team have reassembled to review their findings from last season and reevaluate the algorithm to respond to the uptick in Bigfoot sightings just this year, in the new one-hour special premiering on Sunday, January 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Then the team hit the ground running for an exciting Season Two, premiering at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The advanced data algorithm has revealed a 75,000-acre swatch of Appalachian forest in southeast Kentucky, where the mathematical odds of a Bigfoot encounter are greatly increased during a specific 21-day window. With limited time and opportunity, the team – including Bryce Johnson (expedition operations); Dr. Mireya Mayor (primatologist); Russell Acord (ex-military/survivalist); Ronny LeBlanc (Bigfoot researcher) – have honed in on promising new targets. And this year, their analysis has uncovered something new – possible Bigfoot migratory patterns that may reveal precisely where the legendary beasts will be and when they will be there.
Throughout their two-month journey, the team use the latest in advanced technologies to narrow their search within the designated target zones. As the investigation intensifies, evidence that Bigfoot are in the area begins to pile up – vocalizations, unexplained structures, DNA samples and massive 16-inch footprints that no man could have left behind. This scientific expedition may finally take one of the world’s greatest mysteries out of the pages of legend and lore and into reality. The new season is comprised of 12 new one-hour episodes and two one-hour specials.

As 1 played out….I was going to give u all the brass ring as best I could…sense I grew up in SE KY….Yes they are Real…their intent is pure…unlikeour civilization. .u all are undeserving of the elusive ring….and to think I was so excited about season 2…. I would definitely keep watching this series. It’s a very well documented series. Got a little upset when it just disappeared but decided I love the show so much that I got the Discovery plus channel. Yes I get it. I hated it swapped but if you like it enough you will to. So far it’s great. I will continue to watch until they day they either show us a Bigfoot or I get upset because they don’t lol. Either way I love the series. If your mad about it. Get over it. why did only the first episode of season two play and then no other new ones in season two has shown since?
Expedition Bigfoot SUCKS. They moved to a channel or station I do not have. Discovery plus or what ever the hell it is. You pieces of ****, yeah im pissed.
I think its bull crap that travel channel aires 2 episodes and then nothing for 3 dam weeks!! What is going on with season 2 and only 2 episodes? Bunch of garbage!!!
I would watch it but it is no longer available on the travel Channel! I am very disappointed that you would start season 2 and then try to force people to Discovery +!

Why is the Travel Channel showing repeats of the first 2 episodes of Season 2’s Expedition Bigfoot ? Do they plan on airing episodes 3 and beyond ? Or the only way to watch futures episodes is signing up for Discovery plus ? Has anyone heard from Travel Channel why we are seeing repeats ?
From my understanding, in order to see the rest of the season you have to subscribe to Discovery+. Shame on them for doing this to their fans. The Travel Channel is my favorite and I had been so excited that this show was coming back. Now they tease us with the first two episodes, but Psyche! You have to pay extra to see the rest! WTH??!! Come on people don’t get your underwear in a bunch now. This whole COVID-19 is spreading like rapid fire I think we should give these people a little bit of respect. There lives are crazy to just like ours so just give them a break the show will start and all of us will be happy. What gives with Expedition Bigfoot EpisodeII? All they show is reruns billed as new episodes. Example 1-24-2021. I don’t understand, please explain.
Why do they show on my TV Guide Expedition Bigfoot New episode when it’s clearly a rerun. The new episode date is 1-24-2021. It’s a big lie, what gives? Am I missing something. I looked ahead to next week’s guide and it shows something totally different. Y’all trying to pull a hoax? Episode I was OK, Episode II sucks, can’t get any plainer than that.
Bigfoot Expedition sucks, the same episode that was on last time is on again tonight showing in title its a new episode. Dont know whats going but I think its fake as hell anyway. They act to calm roaming around in the dark ass Kentucky woods in the pitch dark and unarmed. Theres just to much that doesnt make sense about their demeanour. So I could care less if they show another episode or not. Bigfoot Expedition sucks by confusing the audience about dates times episodes channels.
