The wait is nearly over. FX has announced that season four of the Fargo TV show will (finally) launch on Sunday, April 19th, at 10:00 PM. The season will kick off with two episodes. The third season of the anthology drama finished airing in June 2017.
Season four of Fargo is set in Kansas City in 1950 as a pair of crime syndicates fight for control. In an attempt to restore some level of peace, the two mob bosses trade their youngest sons.
Chris Rock stars as the head of one of the syndicates which is made up of migrants who have moved to Missouri due to the South’s Jim Crow laws. Others in the cast include Francesco Acquaroli, Andrew Bird, Gaetano Bruno, Jessie Buckley, Emyri Crutchfield, Salvatore Esposito, Jeremie Harris, Jack Huston, Amber Midthunder, Jason Schwartzman, Glynn Turman, Ben Whishaw, Uzo Aduba, Anji White, Corey Hendrix, Matthew Elam, Timothy Olyphant, and Karen Aldridge. It was announced today that Kelsey Asbille (Yellowstone) has joined the cast.

What do you think? Have you watched the first three seasons of Fargo on FX? Do you plan to watch season four?
I wish they would go back to the old type of story line that got Fargo off on it’s way. These off the wall story lines of the recent Fargos are not up to those standards. Let’s hope this new storyline is up to the task.
I am excited that Fargo is back, and want to see what Chris Rock does with a serious part. Reading the list of actors also in the show tells me it will be a good one, as were the first three.
