George to the Rescue is back! Season 10 of the NBC TV show is set to premiere later this month.
The home improvement series “features George Oliphant and his team of contractors and designers taking on perplexing home improvement projects for families facing their own personal challenges within their homes and their daily lives that they can’t address on their own.”

New York, NY (September 13, 2019) – The popular and award-winning home improvement series George to the Rescue returns for a tenth fall season on Saturday, September 21 on NBC stations (check local listings). Produced by LX.TV, a division of NBC Owned Television Station group, the series will continue its decade-long legacy of highlighting how the power of home renovation can bring communities together and make life-changing impacts on families who may be facing life’s biggest trials.

George to the Rescue launched in 2010, with more than 110 episodes airing to date. The series features George Oliphant and his team of contractors and designers taking on perplexing home improvement projects for families facing their own personal challenges within their homes and their daily lives that they can’t address on their own. In each episode, Oliphant and his team create life-changing, dramatic home transformations that develop before audiences’ eyes. At the end of each episode, Oliphant and his team join with neighbors and the community to welcome the families home to their newly renovated spaces.

Tackle Kids Cancer: In West Orange, NJ, George teams up with Eli Manning of the New York Giants and Hackensack University Medical Center to tackle an incredible kitchen/bedroom makeover for a young boy battling a brain tumor. Episode airs September 28.
Shelter Support: In Montclair, NJ, George transforms a beloved animal shelter devastated by a recent fire. Special appearance by actor and animal lover Patrick Wilson. Episode airs October 5.
Access and Inspiration: In Farmingdale, NY, George leads a massive first floor accessibility renovation for an inspiring teenage girl with cerebral palsy. Episode airs October 12.
Backyard Blowout: In Floral Park, NY, George undertakes a game-changing backyard makeover for a brave boy enduring cancer treatment. Episode airs October 19.
Education Transformation: In Lindenhurst, NY, George transforms an enormous warehouse space into a vibrant sensory gym and literacy center. Episode airs October 26.

Hi George, I have two amazing friends with a daughter who sadly in the prime of her life of college came down with a rare autoimmune brain condition . They do everything they can to take care of her. She hasn’t responded to treatments well and has to be in an area that is safe for her. The condition causes her to be like an Alzheimer’s patient. I need help desperately need the help of George to the rescue. My aunt’s cottage in her backyard is in dire need of renovation. My boyfriend and I are homeless and struggling with 4 rescue cats. We are dirt poor and I have life threatening health issues and my aunt is not doing well and is in rehab paralyzed from the waist down. Her prognosis is not good and my cousin and her desperately need the money they would be getting from us for renting the cottage to pay down the mortgage so they don’t lose the house. We live in small town Iowa. Both of my parents are in their 70’s and I ham legally blind and physically disabled. We need to build a laundry room on the main floor and put a shower somehow into the master bathroom. We all live on fixed incomes. We would love it if you guys could help.

I am 66 and have been paralized from a flu shot, hit by a car 15 times, 2 major brain injuries and permanently disabled with post polio syndrome. My husband was hit by a truck and is disabled. I had never seen GEORGE TO THE RESCUE until today and I loved it. Are you still taking applications? My husband is in great need of help. I got sick in 1996 and he had to take over doing EVERYTHING! His honey do list became Honey Do EVERYTHING, his,mine and ours. It’s been almost 25years and I can’t believe he’s still here.
