The Goldbergs are coming back. ABC has renewed the family sitcom for a fourth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Based on the childhood of creator Adam F. Goldberg, The Goldbergs stars Sean Giambrone as Adam, a young boy who records his family’s antics during the 1980s and comments on them as an adult (Patton Oswalt). Jeff Garlin, George Segal, and Wendi McLendon-Covey also star.
The series is currently in the middle of its third season, and ratings have been strong so far. Each episode is averaging around 6.71 million viewers.
Earlier today, Adam F. Goldberg tweeted about the series renewal:
Prepare for a 4th season of smothering, yelling, 80s toys, Star Wars references, tightie whities and the Big Tasty run! We got picked up!!!!

What do you think? Are you a fan of The Goldbergs? Who’s your favorite character? Will you watch a fourth season?
